Smart players are mining and selling expensive segwitcoin and buying the cheap bch...
once they have enough, it will switch and segwitcoin will begin the death spiral...

I just dont see miners, exchanges and others supporting segwit, when global financial freedom is at stake.

yeah I got all paranoid about that death spiral malarky but it ain't gonna happen...
status quo/common sense rules.... not worth upsetting the apple cart at this point.
like everything in crypto, all hot air and hype to get the masses all wound up.
been there, done that , seen the movie, got the teeshirt etc, etc....zzzzzzz

bitcoin cash will forever be bitcoin cash... a not too shabby priced altcoin. (especially since I got mine free, I'll take em, thank you!!...)

^thanks for sharing your thoughts  Smiley

2, things please...
you think seg/block could blacklist or stop satoshis wallet?
&
its been almost a week , is there a way to see how many users have moved to segwit addresses?

Another thought lol...

Why is blockstream/core relying on bitmain and other miners so much and at the same time not listening to them.

segwitters better pray that blockstrem/core have some mega mega mining farms set-up if they want to survive.

i hope the price will go to 0.3 BTC soon  Smiley

You and me both. I'm still holding on to my $700-ish acquisition. For me, BCH is "purer" which requires no additional software to bloat it. It's better in it's simplicity.

Just a thought...

Segwit & co, fear Satoshis stash of btc, there will be plans in place to stop his wallet on segwitcoin.

Satoshi knows this and has planned ahead....he/they created Bitcoin cash  Smiley

"Mobile wallet and OTC trading platform BitKan has decided to officially let users hold Bitcoin Cash balances in their accounts. It introduced the feature barely after the new coin “officially” appeared, around ten minutes after the hard fork that created it."

Ten minutes... these guys were ready, but why?

http://bitkan.com/event?from=bitkanen

I have a feeling a lot of positive news will come from this event. Ver, Jihan, and even Satoshi himself Craig Wright will be speaking there. Sept 10 a week and a half moonshot.

Not to mention the 80+ companies that have been invited to attend. Mass adoption by year's end?

Great to hear.

After looking through everything I can find on Craig Wright I believe he is in fact Satoshi Nakamoto and it's going to be oh so glorious when those against him finally cannot deny it.

BitcoinGPU is a fork ... if it managed a value of $600 then it would instantly have a market cap greater than BCH due to all the existing coins already in the market

If, if, if.

Yes. If BitcoinGPU was BitcoinCash, it would be third in market cap. But it ain't, so it ain't. Your 'ifs' are worthless.

I don't know anything about this project it's just a good example of how a fork should happen

'Should'? According to who? You?

You wanna invest in BitcoinGPU? I'm not gonna stop you. Knock yourself out.

Not that I mean to denigrate BitcoinGPU. But a fork of Bitcoin with segwit, 1MB creeping upwards, and new PoW is nothing that interests me. OTOH, Bitcoin Cash is simply Bitcoin with the transaction production quota throttle backed out. Exactly what I was looking for in terms of the One True Bitcoin. As were enough others that it has a market cap in the billions scant weeks after launch.

Typical. Soon as I get around to selling some BCH the price drops through the floor.
Looks like it may have just bottomed out though now.

Buy here there are 2 possibilities between profit and loss, because the price is now at a confusing level, but all return to the respective decision alone.

Bitcoin cash would have had a much more friendly welcome to the cryptospace if they chose to use a different PoW algorithm and possibly a higher value too

Nonsense. If that would have been Bitcoin Cash's direction, it would have been every bit as irrelevant as BitcoinGPU. A backwater crapcoin consigned at best to be someone's pump and dump bitch. The approach Bitcoin Cash took launched it as the third-largest crypto. A golden baby that is likely heir to Satoshi's throne.

BitcoinGPU is a fork the same as cash if it managed a value of $600 then it would instantly have a market cap greater than BCH due to all the existing coins already in the market

Whether it can survive or just be another pump and dump is to be seen but even though it's using a different PoW algorithm it's still keeping very close to core and forking from the chain from the same block as BCH I believe if so whatever BTC you had then you will get the same BTCGPU this should instantly give it some value now it it can keep any value is to be seen

I don't know anything about this project it's just a good example of how a fork should happen

I struggle to see how core can keep miners on their chain after x2, but they've surprised me before.

That being said, I'm stocking up BCH in anticipation for that moment. Bought most @ 0.061 so not too worried about holding bags...

If the user's decide 2x to be worthless then the miners will not mine it you have already witnessed that half will support whichever is most profitable as evident by the wild BCH difficulty swings
