If you have private keys of your BTC holdings, then you can sweep with Coinomi's BTG wallet - tested and works.
Before doing it, I'd move BTC to other addresses just in case.
Then you can do whatever you want with your BTG - they're traded on HitBTC for instance.

this will compromise the security of my trezor. isn't?

meh; i guess; it was tacky move to not put in readme and make it clear about donation. Technically i agree if he wrote the pool software a bit of donation is not awful thing; just a HUGE miss on not being extremely clear about it.

But the center ideal of "hiding" in opensource code is a bit absurd and it told your miner on output... Not like it was hidden at all in source; very clear. People and their drama was a bit real though.

First thing i do is grep code for donation lines; more of pool owners just downloading and running software without even looking at code. I am a bit concerned about irresponsible pool owners not even checking before putting a pool up...

How to do solo mining to my qt-wallet without any solo-pools? Is there using getblocktemplate method???
Can I do it without any dev-fee?
I using BTGProxy https://github.com/sammy007/zcash-proxy
+ EBWF BTG miner + Power limit in MSI Afterburner,
because intensity change not working in this miner.
But in frontend of BTGProxy I see this:

ccminer tpruvot can connect to BTGproxy but cann't get work and process it (maybe need to specify nonce offset, I don't know what it is),
and when directly connect ccminer it to my wallet I see error method get_work is failed...
Also, as I understanding, like zcash proxy This proxy charges 2.0% devfee.

I cann't understand what fails is mean, maybe it's declined solutions for blocks.
In this case I lost 5 blocks. Grin

I initially mined as well but then saw all the issues and decided to rent my rig out instead so I made some $$ but I do feel sorry for all who lost $$. I too was very excited to find a BTC variant meant for GPU holders.

Hopefully the dev will fix the issues and this coin can again be worth something.
