Bittrex mentioned there will be BTG claimed for BTC in the account, but will BTG be listed at bittrex? If yes, any news where will it be?

getwork is a bit old. You should try getblocktemplate. Thats working on Windows and Unix.
Maybe your miner is not compatible with this command
I using ccminer from tpruvot, because this is one miner where I can set intensity - to get stable mining with stable hashrate.
Here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Getblocktemplate
I can see supporting miners:
Mining software with GBT support:
BFGMiner 2.8+
cgminer 2.9+
Ufasoft Bitcoin Miner 0.39+
Butterfly Labs's EasyMiner

But I have NVidia cards. I know about ccminer tpruvot supporting getblocktemplate, but for equihash it not working.
Is there any miner for nvidia with getblocktemplate and intensity change available?
Is there any converting proxy??? Can devs do getwork or their own solo miner with stratum server, like sgminer??

Why mining your Bitcoin Gold here?
zPools uses high performance servers located in Germany. As proofen in other currencies, I take things seriously, to provide a trustful and friendly mining environment

Does the pool support Nicehash?
Absolutely. There is a Port for Nicehash (or insane high hashrates). Please use port 3344 for that.

What if you need support?
You can find me on the ALTCOM’s Discord Server, ready for your problems to be solved.
BTW: ALTCOM Discord is not only dedicated to ALTCOM, you can talk about other crypto's, gaming, development, and many more here.

Explorer is syncing its database, but since it will feature the whole entire blockchain, it need quiet some time to be fully updated: BTG.explorer.zPools.de

[ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again
Bitcoin Gold qt.exe for windows: method get_work failed.
I cann't try to do solo-mining. About what decentralized do you say?!
If mining pools will be shut down - no one solo-miner cann't supporting BTG and confirm transactions.
It's not decentralized. Grin

P.S. Also, where I can buy BTG and withdraw it to my BTG address?
I don't want to buy any illiquide futures.

suprnova pool does not work with ccminer 2.2.2?
Special port for ccminer tpruvot - added there.

BTG is premined coin, I avoid this scam. There is Super Bitcoin made by Li Xiaolai, the founder of BTG is notortious scam too, Liao Xiang has bad reputation, don't buy these scams.

watching this project very closely.I think it is gonna be lower than bitcoin cash. But when this drop on exchanges dump it first and wait the peak. You can earn a lot of money about bitcoin forks. Just dont miss thoose chances.

I think you are right. Btw, have you read this article from Medium?, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO BITCOIN IN 2018-2020? It's the reason why I want to invest in BTG while the price is still affordable. I'd like to invest in BCH too, but I'll wait for its price to drop a bit lower or something that I can afford to lose.

Bitcoin :open immutable decentralized global fair
I'm rooting for Bitcoin Gold! Also mining it.

Despite even this said by Theymos (which I largely agree with him on):

Anyone can create a Bitcoin-derived altcoin like "Bitcoin Gold" (BTG) at any time with no cost. BTG is a scammy cash-grab with no ideology and no economic support, not something serious like Bcash was. That's not to say that it's impossible to make money by trading it, just like with other scamcoins, but I'm not going to get into the habit of writing announcements and guidance for every Bitcoin-derived scamcoin. If you want to do a dangerous replay-unprotected coin-split maneuver in order to claim tiny fractions of your BTC in airdrop value, that's on you.

I will write a guide later for B2X (split time in mid-November), which is more serious. After that, the bar is going to be awfully high to get me to announce similar things.

Any "Bitcoin Gold"-like offshoot of Bitcoin that is GPU mineable, leverages Bitcoin's blockchain and user wallets, keeps scarce supply, open-source, and small blocks, I am all for.

In the longterm, I see no reason why this altcoin wouldn't be worth more than 1.5x price of altcoin "Bitcoin Cash".

In fact, I wouldn't see why the combination of coins of ["Bitcoin Gold", Litecoin, Monero, Vertcoin, Groestlcoin] wouldn't be worth more than 5x of altcoin "Bitcoin Cash"

Today in market cap terms; we have
altcoin Bitcoin Cash $21B
altcoin Bitcoin Gold ~$2.5B
litecoin 3.3b
monero 1.9b
vertcoin 0.2b
groestlcoin 0.04b

I predict longterm 1BTG=1.5"Bitcoin cash"; currently 1BTG = 0.12
I predict longterm [the combination]=5"Bitcoin Cash", currently [combination] = 0.38
Thus I predict a hard fall in relative terms for BCH

For the time-being, I'm mining Bitcoin Gold.

And I am holding onto both my Bitcoin Gold, as well as my real Bitcoin.

Go Bitcoin Gold!

[for reference, today, real bitcoin sits at $110B]

- Got the private key for the old address using the Bitcoin
I got my BTG address without import private key (but priv need to do transfers).

1. https://brainwalletx.github.io/#converter -> select GameCredits (0x26 byte) ->
FROM Base58Check: BTC address -> TO Base58Check -> BTG address.

2. https://btgblocks.com/ -> G-address to the search field -> and see my BTG there (transferred before 491407 block).

Now I can do mining there but I cann't transfer. I don't want to download any blockchains and I'll using web wallets.
If get_work method will be unlocked in windows-qt, I'll download it, syncronize and want to do solo mining then.

Just finished loading my BTG from my BTC address :

- Downloaded the Windows wallet from the BTG website
and sync'ed it fully (took a day and half) then encrypted
it with a passphase.

- Moved my BTC to another wallet address for security

- Got the private key for the old address using the Bitcoin
core wallet console:
walletpassphase 'wallet passphrase' 600
dumpprivkey 'wallet address'
walletlock

- From the Bitcoin gold wallet console:
walletpassphase 'wallet passphrase' 600
importprivkey "bitcoinprivkey"
walletlock

This activates a re-scan to locate your coins and within the
hour my BTG appeared with new 'G' address that has the
BTC private key.

Next I'm going to move these to the address provided
after the sync of the BitcoinGold wallet for safety.

Happy retrieving, I've got nowhere to send them but at least
I have them Smiley

I moved my BTC to a paper wallet from trezor pre fork and moved them back post I can see my BTG on the blockchain still just need to load my key and send them all somewhere

So far I have BTG on a paper wallet, some on HitBTC and some on suprnova from mining once trezor releases their update for BTG support then ill move them all on there until then they can stay where they are

As a footnote when moving coins to a new address it is worth
sending a small amount first to check it works.

It costs an extra transaction fee but give you piece of mind.
