As far a I know, a memo isn't required when sending to your bitshares wallet. The memo is usually required when sending to an exchange wallet like bittrex or poloniex.

Yes your bitshares wallet name is your address. I would suggest sending a small amount first to make sure.

Guys, I'm trying to move my BTS from Bittrex to the wallet I just downloaded, it's asking for my Memo and Registered account: what's the Memo? And the registered account is the public name I chose when I installed the wallet?

Thanks!

Can it recover from a drop like this? It's lost so much value.
Not so fast as we wish.
Bts dex should able to become a competitor to centralized exchanges. So, first of all we need more alts to trade. As a direct result of this, gradually price and interest to bts would increase. We need to promote dex service.

will bitshares survive and be strong in the future? Any new developments ?

Bitshares has lot of potential in the market so we have to wait for the hard fork updates from the team. Already in the market bitshares has huge volume and it can surprass the value in coming days.

What happened with this?

Is it because you receive "dividends" for participating in the network?
What about stake coins?

Same stuff -- Im baffled.

What kind of dividends does bitshares holders get? Also, does anyone keep this project alive. seemed dead to begin with
No dividends, and yes the dev team is still active. It would be nice to see some upgrades on the trading platform interface. It wouldn't take much to make it more user friendly. BTS as a cryptocurrency has great tech but there isn't really any marketing being done (that I know of)

Yes, the coin has great tech behind it but what incentive do investors have to hold this coin when there are multiple other coins out there where you receive more coins by just: leasing (waves), voting (lisk), staking (neo, nav, omg), etc. IMHO, those coins are better investments, although one should never count out an old fox like BTS thats why i invested a small sum in this coin.

Exactly and why did bittrex really delist it?

BTS is bleeding bad right now, I can't look any more ;(
Bitshares is closer than ever to 100 million cap. People sell altcoins, including bts, and then buy bitcoin in the run-up to its hard fork. Thus escalating tension and fear. But i believe the bottom is close.

It's really hard to realize what's going on since so many contradictory rumors were circulating. And following by bittrex: could poloniex delisting bts? What do you think?
I just moved my BTS from bittrex to poloniex. Hopefully, Polo does not do the same thing as happened on bittrex in the near future. If this happens, it can not be imagined what will happen to the price of this coin. For the time being I will still hold this coin and will not sell it with a loss. Will hold back until things become clear.
Yeah, if it's happen(polo delist) price may reach 1-2 cents or even less. I'm trying to mitigate the losses by buying at low. As it turns out, Bitshares was way too centralized as a coin. To avoid centralization, Bitshares needs to integrate promising alts, as a solution. This is inevitable will raise the interest to the BTS dex service.
We'll hope for the best Roll Eyes
