When Bittorium project was started, we promised that real names of all team members are public knowledge... That will not change, ever... How can people trust us if we hide behind pseudonyms... Bittorium project has survived because users know who we are.

Big news comming? Check out discord channel. More and more miners are joining network.

FOMO, FUD, Dead coin?

Cheesy

As lead developer I would know if there was any big news coming for Bittorium... Development has continued after the website went offline.

Mika is right, development has been ongoing but there was a limit to what could be done due to the disappearance of Naeem and having no access to nodes, premine or website etc, we have been able to contact him and his circumstances fully explain everything that happened, Bittorium is set for big news but is going to continue with Mika, Patrick, Vitality and a new addition TrebbleModz who will work behind the scenes for us.

We will keep you all updated and look forward to sharing the next step whichever we take you all will be involved!

Can you send us other links than Bitcointalk to the forums? Are you working outside this web resource?

That doesn't make sense at all...

where to buy?

https://fcbaccount.com/exchange/BTC/BTOR

We are not currently planning on listing on other exchanges. If any other exchange claims to have BTOR, it most likely isn't legitimate.

I'm currently working on adding displaying of average hash rate to command-line miner... This is one of the features that was asked before the hard fork. It will essentially show average hash rate since mining of the current block started.

The blockchain is kind of down, lots of wrong blocks Sad

Blockchain is UP... The new daemon code shuts down mining new blocks if it detects pulse mining. It will reset automatically after a while. Recently it took about 4 days to reset, but after that several blocks were accepted. The time it takes to reset depends on number of new transactions added to transaction pool per 4 minute period. This was all explained before the new daemon version was released and again after the release.

The daemon code was tested with as short as 3 seconds between consecutive blocks and it worked correctly. We're continuing testing how it performs with very large times between two consecutive blocks and such won't manually reset the difficulty until several days has passed without new blocks. Cheapest way for anyone to reset the difficulty is to send single fusion transaction as it will force creating new block template. Creating just one regular transaction works too, but it requires 0.01 BTOR fee.

After the difficulty is reset, it takes about 120 blocks until the difficulty is again at optimal level, so it is still possible to mine blocks fast if there is enough transactions waiting. If another pulse mining attempt is detected before difficulty is stabilized, the blockchain is suspended again and another reset is required.

There needs to be about 30 seconds gap between solving a block and new transaction being added to transaction pool. This means time to solve each block should be between 30 seconds and 3 minutes 30 seconds (or 210 seconds) for target time of 4 minutes (or 240 seconds).

BiteBTC now rebrand as Fedlio. Be caerful with this exchange. You may lost your funds.

There is no btor being traded on there even how do you trade?

So they shut off block reward now completely?  So this is a joke?

WTS some Bittorium, PM me with offers  Grin

Is someone actually willing to pay anything for cryptocurrency whose team leader has gone MIA over a month ago... Last activity of Naeem was on May 1st and he doesn't reply to any messages on any sites he is member of. I know some Bittorium supporters want to revive the coin but until the original domain has expired, there is very little anyone can do.

Bittorium failed already when Naeem couldn't write working mobile wallet... It basically proved he can't code anything more complex than "Hello World" type of simple applications. It didn't take much effort to copy my and Giacomo's code and replace the coin name and some numbers in configuration files.

We have asked FirstCryptoBank to update their daemon to version 0.4.5 ... We still don't recommend using BiteBTC as they have not responded to any queries about missing coins in user wallets on the exchange.
