How is cancelling old orders going to reduce load on their system when those orders have to be remade? The only reasoning is that they have a batch file they ran which is less system intensive than individuals doing it themselves, but that might not even be the case since the orders have to be re-made in real-time.

I have doubts the changes have much to do with speeding up the system. Corporations can be cruel just because cruelty is a part of human nature and gives insecure banal people some feeling of superiority.

Their third party validator, Jumio, couldn't verify the downloaded images....which is a bunch of bullshit! That's after their "third party" verifier couldn't verify my account from public records....which is even more bullshit!

Me too. I've been routinely trading at Bittrex for several years and never had a problem. I just made a withdrawal a few days back. I never had a problem until yesterday after making a deposit and then trying to withdraw when my trade didn't get covered. The withdrawal was refused out of the clear "blue sky." <---Get it? Bittrex wants to cozy up to the regulatory agencies to try to rip us off, then let the fucking games begin ---> the SEC and the "Blue Sky" security acts are there to protect the consumers from thieves like these guys! I've been ripped of by several fraudulent securities I've purchased from Bittrex over the years and never complained once. <--- Several that wouldn't pass the "Howey Test" no matter how hard they tried to manipulate their definitions.

All of these changes should reduce the total load of the Bittrex trading engine. This implies
that the user experience for the remaining users will be much better after they are done with these measures.

The only people that really should be upset about these changes are the guys who made lots of really small trades.
Otherwise I think these changes are beneficial for every Bittrex user.

Additionally, the order books should look a lot cleaner in the future. An orderbook where every order is 1 satoshi above the next
order is simply too cluttered. Therefore I think instituting minimum tick sizes is a very reasonable change.

Same what happened to me.

Verified account, did many trades, deposits, withdrawals for the last years.

First it was 100BTC limit, then 0.025BTC limit, last week 0BTC limit and now my "Enhanced Verified" account is locked.

I can't login (only to support, where I get no response at all), I can't withdraw, I have to consider my funds to be lost.

Wow, just saw that its not just me having issues with bittrex. Ive had my coins sitting with them for a few months now and had to resubmit my drivers license twice due to what they say was unable to verify with public records and my account being locked, which is BS. Fearing now this is a kyc scam to steal coins and have to promptly find a way to store everything offline. Decentralized exchanges are the ONLY solution or this will end badly for lots of people.

Guys if your account is OK please withdraw all of your money before they stuck your money too. mine is disabled 45 days, they dont answer my tickets, they blocked me from slack and twitter. this is a real scam. withdraw all of your coins to hitbtc or binance. they have many altcoins too

My funds are now being held hostage by Bittrex. Little did I know that the exchange who I really trust since the beginning of my journey in the crypto space more than 3 years ago will do this to me. I am one of those earlier supporters of bittrex exchange since day one. And this is not a good way to treat their loyal customer.
