You all see all the twitter replies to Bittrex's latest post...I am also disabled but only have a few thousand in it, I can't imagine all the people who have their life savings/six figures stuck in Bittrex...I would be pulling my hair out from the stress...I really hope they get around to fixing all these issues since Bittrex was my favorite exchange till now...I like their interface the most...

I want my money back

i have been a bittrex user for years now and since my account was old the account type was "Legacy" and my limit has always been high. (recently changed to 1337BTC). everything was fine and i continued using bittrex without any issue.

now out of the blue my account type is changed to lowest possible account! and i am not willing to give bittrex any documentation.
i would like to take my money out and use another exchange but it is stuck too!

sent a ticket too.

(this is a big scam by bittrex in my opinion, they are harvesting bitcoin users identification by forcing this new rule upon them)

The biggest issue I have with this, my legacy account displayed withdrawals up to 1337.
It displays this before you deposit, during your deposit, until you want to cash out...such a nasty move, holding people's money hostage in exchange for all their private personal information.

First off, I'm a big fan of Bittrex... and they are #1 in US alt volume for good reasons.

The 1337 number is meaningless...
It really means you have a "legacy" unverified account and can withdraw 1 BTC/day.

I'm still able to trade normally and withdraw 1 BTC/day...
But I have seen other activity at Bittrex that makes me very nervous  Shocked

I don't have any coins or tokens on Bittrex now
Going to wait and see whats going on before I do any trading on Bittrex.
Never had any problems, and I trade there everyday
Just don't want to take a chance with whats going on now

I guess that says it all.No banning of customers from slack who are looking for support/help because of their disabled / limited accounts ?


So in generall Bittrex is saying people with basic or disabled accounts are spamming,phising and making general abuse.

Thanks for that information @ Bittrex , i thought till today that we are also customers of Bittrex

Hi!

Iv got same error after when im upload my documents + selfie with date and my ID in my hand.
Iv sent a support ticket on zendesk  on Tuesday  but no response yet. My ticket still open.
I have almost 4000$ in my wallet in USDT.... i hope they unlock my acc soon.

Yes seems their enhanced verification is working now. But they are slow to respond to enable accounts as I am still waiting for mine to be enabled. I hope they fix it asap a week being locked out of our funds is pretty insane in any industry but I guess anything flies with crypto.  Undecided

I wonder how everyone sent their 3 item photo to Bittrex? Did you just reply to the support email ticket and attached a photo of your face/ID/Bittrex note? How long from your photo being sent did you have to wait for your account to be enabled? Did Bittrex inform you that your account was re-enabled or did you just have to manually check over and over by logging in?

Yea I'm enhanced as well. Now only issue is the disabled part. Waiting for support to respond. I assume they fix the enhanced verification?

I wondering why Bittrex topic full of complaint from newbie accounts! This really is dubious.this seems to be the doing of competitors for the Bittrex.

I think its because they open account here to ask for help.

Wanted to update I had my account disabled and went through hoops by submitting documents for enhanced verification and got the same error for auto upgrading my account from basic to enhanced that many other people here got. I also sent them a .jpg of myself holding my drivers licence and written paper with "BITTREX, CURRENT DATE" with my face onto their support ticket.

It has been a couple days now and I login into Bittrex and my account is now ENHANCED so I guess the error was only temporary as my account has been upgraded. HOWEVER my account is still disabled. There hasn't been any response from the Bittrex support staff yet so I am still waiting for them to enable my account. I am glad to see that their enhanced verification system is working now so I guess that is some progress. I will update if my account gets enabled or not and how long it takes them to do it.

FYI: I am from Canada and do all my trading from the same IP's all the time with 2FA enabled since the life of my Basic account for 5months.

I can confirm my account has now been upgraded to Enhanced Verification and Enabled too after about a day after getting the "no public records" error. And it appears withdrawals are not disabled, but I have not tried to initiate one yet...

So many accusations for bittrex disabiling accounts. Should I take out my funds? Can I consider safe? I know there was hack previosly dont want to victime again
