Just tried to get "Enhanced" on Bittrex, uploaded clear pics but got rejected and asked to resubmit.
I followed the guidelines so this seems sketchy to me.
I will give it another try at some point, but for now, no more trading on Bittrex for me.

People who owns more than 500 BTC can really influence the public by a simple pump and dump and so forcing KYC can probably minimize all these.

At least, experienced Bittrex don't allow unlimited withdraw until you have enhanced verification. Need to get verified account for smoothly going.

I just tried to withdraw and it went through. I am not sure why I was getting the message. may be an error on their side. try withdrawing small amount. see if it goes through.
Ive gone from a 1337BTC daily limit legacy account to a 3BTC daily limit basic account.
A couple of weeks ago I withdrew just over 75BTC, thank fuck I did before all this shit took place or it would have taken nearly a month to get the funds out.

this is not an explanation really it is just an excuse. the fact of the matter is that they suddenly decided to change their rules without giving their users notice first.
if i knew they are going to enforce this kind of verification on me i would have withdrawn my money from there. now it is stuck!

They did ban people on slack for asking awkward questions. They banned me and I watched them ban others while it happened.
0.1% of accounts affected, they have a whole team working on it. Then why the fuck is it that 7 days later the majority of people still seem to be fucked.
What happens if you dont trust them and their unknown I.D verifying 3rd party enough to send all your important I.D and a selfie - how are they planning on returning your funds as you disagree with the terms? Are they just going to steal everyone's money?
Why are they still allowing unlimited deposits to unverified accounts then block withdrawals?

Why is kraken not also doing this when as a matter of fact I see them more reliable than Bittrex? Such a facepalm. Its disappointing to see exchanges that used to beg for people to trade in their site now becoming ungrateful fucks in this economy.

Bittrex have lost all credibility and trust worthiness.They are no better than ICO whores who have plundered the ecosystem.Underhanded and dishonest with their tactics.When it is done only to a few nobody notices and the sheeple just brush their rantings and complaints aside because it doesnt affect them.Now that it affects even the formerly complacent and indifferent ones things are different by the looks of it.

If you got banned there is a reason behind it. I doubt bittrex ban account "for fun".
I might be wrong here, and I probably am, but what I think is happening is that Bittrex is frightened of being procecuted by the SEC for some sort of non-complince and so as a precaution they are suspending 1000's of user accounts that may be in violation of SEC rules ("illegal" foreign account holders).
Bittrex would rather upset a few 1000 users - including some legitamate ones caught in the trap - than be procecuted.

they only talk about banning accounts. why don't they inform us about the changes off the verification. i want to know what level my account have.
You can find out the level of your account from your login on the Bittrex web site. Just click on the "Settings" tab and it will take you to a page that shows you all your account information, including your "Account Type" whether it's 'Basic' or 'Enhanced'.

My account has also been banned for no reason. Located in Canada. I have tried to do the enhanced verification with the same failure as everyone else is getting. Also sent them the 3 item photo (ID, Face, Paper with Bittrex and date written on it) directly to their support in hopes that will work. I had a basic account for 5 months now. Will update if they get back to me.
