Have done a quick cross check of the bonus payout top 10 miners http://pastebin.com/Kxv1YUKF
with the top 1000 distribution list http://maarx.nl/maarx.nl/blackcoin/distribution/

The guy at the top is holding just over 300k
The rest are much smaller holders.

This is great news. It means the culture here is very much alive with fresh interest. I am taking advantage of this dip!

This payout is from at least 12 hours back. You have not been paid for the past 24 hours, but the 24 hours BEFORE the run that started 12 hours ago. Adjust your expectations.

If you think your payouts are low:
- We switched pool / IP to new version -> Check your fail-over!
- The payout is from a while back due to Cryptsy failing
- Check the current profitablity from Wafflepool - We beat that.
- The price roose to 9500 and back to 8500. We buy all day long, might have been some high buys. (We try to prevent this as much as possible)
- Check your failovers, check your rigs, and check your WU. Don't expect your 3.5 MH/s rig to do 3.5 MH/s. It does 3.2 at best if you look at WU.

Also, check last days Wafflepool. We are still way better then that.

This explains it all. Thanks

Agreed. Thanks for all the info, folks. It adds up now. I should probably put a failover or two in there. If I put more than one, is there a different command then failover-only, or is it just whichever one is listed first gets checked first?

For what it's worth, there's not a single coin I'd rather support right now, it is a huge fall off after Blackcoin. (Though my beloved, struggling Prospercoin is second.)  Wink

Great ! Smiley Let's go for the 2 Gh/s now.

Has the payouts already been sent? Unfortunately I don't belong to the Lucky random miners ^^.

Is getting 10% rejected shares normal on the multipool?  Huh
Miner sometimes says rejected share because difficulty too low, even though the difficulty was high enough (example 515/512)

Most people observe a reject rate of 4 - 7 %. Where is your rig located? If the pool continues to be that successful the developers plan to install an EU node.
Yeah, I'm located in the EU, so that might be it. EU node would be awesome.
Thanks!

Same here, I'm getting 7% rejects due to "low difficulty share". I've been mining on the mutlipool since the radiostatic era, but this problem only appeared a few days ago. Is there a way to avoid this ?

Yes - I have a ton of coins from my failovers. That, plus the price rise, plus the fact it reflects 24hrs and not the entire period since last payout...the numbers look about right to me. I don't know what all the hoopla is about.

The hoopla is about a big delay from Cryptsy, a lack of understanding/miscommunication about payouts and a huge amount of hype, which will always leave people disappointed.  I was furious when I saw my 0.6 BC payout until i joined the IRC and found out that the payout wasn't from my mining last night, but probably from when I was playing with my setup earlier in the day.

There's also a disheartening lack of information thanks to the bug that's not allowing us to see how our miners are doing. Having that information ahead of time would have quieted a lot of the discontent.  We're in the dark and people don't like that.

I'm on the BC bandwagon, don't get me wrong.  But that's why the hoopla. Smiley

Understood. And also true that we're just getting this going. Let's not shoot ourselves in the foot here. The bugs affecting stats will be taken care of, we know that. My approach yesterday was just to keep an eye on cgminer at home, and periodically test drive my rentals on other pools. When my home rigs failed-over, I did a manual switch to redirect rental-farms. A bit cumbersome, but I'm fine with that. The big picture here is what we really want to stay connected to.

BlackCoin Community FTW

BlackCoin community member “africanos” is the one who came up with the idea of this giveaway, and is also the one who will be making sure the winners receive their hardware.

BlackCoin community member "Walrusbonzo" jumped in on this offer, and will be throwing in a PCI-E Extension Ribbon for every milestone described below as well. Things just get better & better for BlackCoin!

Now, in order for these giveaways to take place, certain criteria have to be met :

- When the BlackCoin Multipool reaches a Scrypt hashrate of 2 GH/s or more, and managed to maintain that rate for at least 24 hours, one lucky miner will receive an ASRock H81 Motherboard.

- If 4 GH/s is reached, one lucky miner will receive a Geforce 750 TI GPU.

- At 6 GH/s, another ASRock H81 Motherboard will be given away.

- At 8 GH/S, there will be another Geforce 750 TI GPU sent out to a lucky winner.

- At 10 GH/s, there will be a special, undisclosed giveaway.

A very interesting giveaway, and this goes to show, once again, what an amazing community BlackCoin has. Big props to them!
