Actually now that I've thought about it, I am really happy for the most recent dump, its weak-hands dropping again on the notion that the pool won't help that 'much'.   So the pool is buying 20% more coins now than it was 3 hours ago.   This not only gives me more BC for my hash,  But its likely to filter into more longer-term hands.    Anyone who gets BC at 7000k  is likely going to hold much longer than someone who got in at 3000.

The sooner we drop everyone who bought in cheap enough that they can only see small-time dollar signs at these prices the better we all are.

Think of it like a funnel,  the more we shake out the weak hands, the less, progressively there are coins in queue waiting to be dumped.

I think we are heading towards a Event Horizon:  "the point at which the gravitational pull becomes so great as to make escape impossible"

What will happen is that through these dumps more and more BC finds its way into strong hands,  This makes the pool that much more effective at creating price-rise.   We are going to hit the 'Event Horizon' and it will be too late for most to escape (ie,  get BC cheap) because it will start a chain reaction and there will no longer be enough dumpers with enough BC to make a meaningful impact.

Then,  I will see you when you take a tour of my space-based vacation home Wink

looks like some crazy sell walls, one with 60 btc. lame.

Yep whoever is behind the big dump is trying to crash the coin. There's a 60 btc sell wall, with 7 btc and 5 btc walls next to it. They are trying to buy up your coins for cheap!

really, i don't know why anyone who is interested in bc is not mining at the pool. this will take the price up and make the bc you get more valuable. it's a win win. you can't lose if you support the pool. tyhe more hash means more btc to trade for bc which means more price increase .simples

Maybe because people in here rather discuss pointless things than trying to help people who join mining and have problems/questions

Well I got 10 BC xD. I hope there is another payment soon but I already stopped, scrypt is not very profitable with GPUs anymore and I mined 24h just to support the pool, also I pay ~ .24 per KWH, so for me is a lose lose :p.

Cheers.

Spend quite a lot in rental and got just 480 BC.  It´s not worth at all.

It seems like we are missing a lot of hashing power, compared to yesterday. Instead of passing 2GH because of Black Friday, now we are other way around down to 1gh. Sad, sad, sad... Sad

Every BC I am given on mintpal because of dumpers is one less bc on the market.  Soon big investors will be able to trail-blaze any price valuation they want.  Simply because they see much bigger gains.

Yeah, I also rented a rig yesteday, but the payout is just not worth it. I accept to get less than I would buy them straight with BTC but this is too much of a difference

Probably because i can only get about 600k out of my single 7970. Just not worth it in electric costs.
