IMHO

Try deleting everything in the AppData's BC folder except wallet.dat then try opening your wallet. it should download the blockchain again.

also there's already something like that for BC. it's a few pages back so you just search for it Tongue

i think i saw it last week. you can create your own paper wallet, etc.

Have you tried deleting the blockchain and re-synching ? Failing that, close down the wallet and re-open it ( sounds daft, but worked for me a couple of times, there were a few blocks that it seemed to get hung up on )
