Hi!

Something strange is happening to my wallet.

The balance goes up and down a bit.

BC 24913.29873022=>24807.75751249
BC 24807.75751249=>24901.90036456
BC 24901.90036456=>24789.95447526

I understand that I'm staking coins, but why the hell went the balance down too?

I didn't see any orphans in the transaction list...

Post your BC adress .
For me works all ok.

Look my stakes:

a967b0b095...   10594   2014-03-02 05:14:22   98.68028917   50032.95501194   BC

You see that in window amount qualified for stake. but you will get only part of it as stake because 1% is annual!!
Amount before paid
Amount paid after few hours stake from ~49000BC
final balance

I'm not using a qt wallet. I have that on a headless Linux installations for security/staking.
Is there a way to get more info out about the staking out of the wallet?

More info:
This was from the dev and is on this thread, but I put it in pastebin: http://pastebin.com/ub5cgUux
You can also learn about PoS in general here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Proof_of_Stake

Thats a good explaination of BC PoS, thank you!

But it doesn't explain me why my balance went's down too.

Dunno. Keep an eye on it and take screenshots. Post again if you confirm an issue and can document it in images, otherwise it leaves open the possibility of an accounting error on your part. Also,if it's happening to you, it should be happening to others as well, but this is the only such report so far.

I would suggest a small redesign of visual identity to make it more professional.

What do you think?

That one is neat!

Nice layout & fonts. A bit too no-frills for my liking. The straight B&W and flat look are kind of austere. I'm not saying go way over into ghetto-fabulous with cheap gold trim everywhere. But I liked the purple and black combos that guy came up with earlier in the thread, discreet use of color, shading,  sexy but not garish.

>.< The gradients are tacky as hell.

Have you ever mined Ruby? Each coin takes quite a bit of mining to get, to the point that having over 100 is equiv to having thousands of Blackcoins. Ruby is absolutely worthless in comparison to Blackcoin.

Yeah I was there at launch for their fucking scam giving premine to certain pools, mined it for half hour before switching back to Blackcoin.

This is my point though, the coin is worthless it shouldn't matter how long it takes to mine for however many coins people should not be buying it at that much

Indeed.. launch of Ruby was really bad... some had over 2k after half an hour while others including me were able to just get 1 or 2.... I hope that coin dies..

Ugh it only takes like 8 bitcoin worth of buy orders to push us sky high! We need more people interested in this coin. Sadly, since it's not being mined anymore, it doesn't get any more exposure...

It takes the piss really when shitcoins like Ruby are somehow worth more on the exchanges https://www.cryptorush.in/index.php?p=trading&m=RUBY&b=BTC

So I have had 6 POS so far but my question is, are the coins that are being staked just randomly pulled?

For example I have had a couple hundred and the most have been 3,800 staked at once.

I do not understand why so many idiots buy this coin.

And I don't understand why idiots like you feel a need to come and post this shit in here, if you hate the coin then GTFO

My wallet has been unlocked for about 48 hours and still 0 coins in my stake (6000 in the wallet so far). How to fix this, any ideas?
looks like POS do not works

It definitely works... why it seems different between users is a little odd though.
