Long time lurker, first time poster Grin

What got me out of the woodwork is the network weight that is getting kinda but still far from panic low, probably due to all "my coins are gone" FUD. So PLEASE STAKE. If you're paranoid buy a cheap computer and do a fresh linux install, if yo're extra paranoid stake only percentage (half?) of your coins. But PLEASE STAKE. It's what keeps the network and with that your coins and their value secure.

I think that biggest advantage and also possible flaw of this coin is POS and only thing that can truly bring it down is some serious problem with or in POS algorithm. And all of us here would probably feel pretty stupid if we exposed this promising coin to potential 51% attack. So, again, PLEASE STAKE.

I just made some phone calls to try and see how I Can get a real silver coin with the print of blackcoin.
I found one company who can make it on a silver or gold coin with real metal but they cant get it in black. Only in plastic. But they can however send that coin true to a company in Polen who can colour it to the collours of our logo!

No idea of potential costs yet.

I saw someone post a amazing coin render of blackcoin. But I cant find that page so quick Tongue

Could someone pm me a render that I can to the company?

I personally am not so sure, BTC-E has some sort of secretive shadiness going for it... Mintpal has done well with BC and they have earned good fees, they will probably have means to upgrade and extend their service. So BTC-E should be begging us to add BC not vise versa... Their loss if they dont.

Then lets get Mintpal to add Blackcoin/usd

Though admittedly off-topic... I find most reptiles to be pretty tasty. Definitely not for daily consumption but nothing beats rattlesnake medallions in drawn butter. Wink

This has been done... bounties were place and bounties were paid when everything was added. I'm not sure what most people believe LTC has that BC does not have currently. And on that note, I may have missed it but when did TigerDirect, Overstock.com or other retailers of that size announce that they were accepting LTC directly for merchandise.

You can literally buy EVERYTHING that you can buy with BTC with BC... you just can't necessarily predict how much you will have actually paid for that item next week. But that 'weakness' applies to all crypto currencies - including BTC.
