Hi

Thanks for the reply.
How should I rename the .txt file? is it "BillaryCoin.conf"? wallet still not syncing.. What am I missing? Should I make any additional changes? It would be great if someone makes a step by step guide for such procedures.

Yeah, boomyak is right. 30+ BTC of buys today from 1500 to 2100, and then immediately brought back down to 800 within 20 minutes. This exact pattern has happened 4 times in just the last month, massive pump, and then one person drops it down within minutes. The timing tells you everything you need to know, he's trying to accumulate. Sometimes it's within seconds that after there's a big buy, someone will sell just 10 coins to bring the price back down, it's pretty hilarious and very transparent. Remember what really happened here guys, because the troll is banking on you only seeing a red candle a week from now, as his teeny tiny dumps make 30+ BTC of buys looks like nothing. People aren't so easily fooled Wink

That's all well and good, but the wallet is still under maintenance which is why I think he's monopolizing the coin. How's the progress with Yobit, have they responded?

was there some news related explanation for that flash crash on May 13th?

There was no flash crash, if you look at the volumes, we had 4.5 BTC of buys, and like 0.2 BTC of sells. It was pumped fast before people could support it with buys, and if you've been watching carefully you'll have seen that there's someone out there who's been constantly trying to push the price of BLRY down, for months. Every time there's a big pump, someone will within 10 minutes dump just 0.01 BTC worth to bring the price back down, often it takes less than that.

I mean, look we had a 10+ BTC pure buy pump within the last 24 hours, but the price went back to "normal", as someone purposefully kept dumping just enough to lower the price. 4.5 BTC pure buys a day ago, another 14 BTC of buys 2 weeks ago. The total buys are like 30+ BTC in the last month, and total sells are about 1-1.5 BTC.

Don't be fooled by whoever is trying to keep the price down. I mean, literally within an hour of pumping to 2400, there were sells @ 1000, for no reason, it's intentional manipulation to try and suppress the price to accumulate cheap.

Iit's been up around 2400 before, it will again. It's been up and down many times in it's 1+ year history, plenty of chances for people to get in and out. Incase you missed it there was a lot more than 4.5 BTC worth of pump a couple weeks ago... that was around 15 BTC buys, so this 4.5 BTC pump isn't really anything special. It only hit 2400 because they bought all at once, instead of a sustained pump, where people dump into the pump, which means it usually doesn't get as high.

BLRY is probably my fav coin that isn't one of the "big boys" like waves, eth, lisk, etc.

this coin was used to scam people
everyone besides "pumpmycoin" dev lost money  Sad

I do not think it's a coincidence they choose to pump this coin when the wallet is in maintenance mode. However, the only people losing money are those who impulsively buy coins that have +X% to the right of them. If you held BLRY on Yobit long, then you're at a profit right now.

I'm glad you got it working Hashman, I'm not a linux guy myself, but I had mylinux guy looking into it. The commits you're referring to yes were intended to clean things up, this is the first time I've heard of any issue from it, but you have it working now, so I'm happy.

And this pumpmycoin group, I have to say, I'm wasn't sure if they were legit or not, I think this might have been the first coin that they pumped? But it seems to be real, it's hard to say, it could be a coincidence, but it was interesting to watch that's for sure. So thanks guys at pumpmycoin for kicking ass with BLRY Smiley

For your trainspotters, BLRY reached a new record marketcap of $361,522 USD!!!

the recent pump of this coin is said to be made by the Pumpmycoin community members, they claimed that the winning coin to be pump is this coin and they made this coin pump, i am not sure if it's true or just a coincidence with their first pumping activity.

Ok, upon further inspection I'm pretty certain that the "billerycliton" commits broke compilation on unix. These updates included gui changes, but also removed libraries and attempted to remove irc.h/irc.cpp references, but failed to do so properly. In makefile.unix, I commented out irc.o so compilation didn't immediately fail, however, I still did not have success compiling. https://pastebin.com/D7y2SWZj.

Most of the errrors are "undefined reference" which means a necessary library is missing.
Code:
obj/checkpoints.o: In function `Checkpoints::ValidateSyncCheckpoint(uint256)':
/home/coins/cryptos/BillaryCoinSource/src/checkpoints.cpp:129: undefined reference to `error(char const*, ...)'
/home/coins/cryptos/BillaryCoinSource/src/checkpoints.cpp:114: undefined reference to `error(char const*, ...)'
/home/coins/cryptos/BillaryCoinSource/src/checkpoints.cpp:95: undefined reference to `error(char const*, ...)'
/home/coins/cryptos/BillaryCoinSource/src/checkpoints.cpp:97: undefined reference to `error(char const*, ...)'
/home/coins/cryptos/BillaryCoinSource/src/checkpoints.cpp:110: undefined reference to `error(char const*, ...)'

Furthermore, after reverting to commit SHA 73016b8f82f8e3f557d5872fc0989592dce1f345 I attempted to compile and got another error (https://github.com/exclusivecoin/Exclusive/issues/1), the solution was

Code:
mkdir -p src/obj/zerocoin
chmod +x src/leveldb/build_detect_platform
cd src/leveldb && make libleveldb.a libmemenv.a

Finally, the compiling worked. I am now synchronizing with the BLRY blockchain.

On another note, I noticed that the block explorer is no longer active. Please renew whatever you need to renew.  https://www.blockexperts.com/blry

My theory is that Yobit pulled from master and failed to compile and has been in a state of maintenance since then. Right now the main priority should be making the coin stable for exchanges.

Is there any exchange right now? Yobit is under the maintenance long time.

I'm not sure what you want me to do with that, it lacks a file extension. Furthermore, I've grown to hate qt wallets because they're so wasteful and always hang when I want to do things, I much prefer a CLI. I have a qt wallet on windows for BLRY, but I've set up my laptop as a staking machine for all my coins so that's why I'm insistent on getting a daemon working. I may take a closer look this weekend, but I imagine the number one thing that would prevent exchanges from listing a coin is if it can't compile on their server, so we need to figure out a solution. It may be related to the reason Yobit has set it to "maintenance" mode as well.

I think you should make sure BLRY compiles on the various linux distros (at least the Debian variety, you can test with virtual servers). Afterwards, we need to get BLRY listed on the smaller exchanges like Novaexchange and Cryptopia. Despite the prices on coinmarketcap, if Yobit has BLRY in maintenance mode and Yobit is the only exchange for it then BLRY is essentially worthless.
