Right going now, copied over a old sgminer config I used for BC and that works now with tweaks to the config.

Why cant mining be easy, one version of the software that works fine on my 290x refuses to start on my 270?

Ayhow dashboard says I can expect 0.32055728 estimated earnings, is this per day? if its that per day that is very low?

Dont trust the estimates, mine for 2 or 3 hours and sum that up to the day and this is what you get

Ok that might explain the rejections then as there site details list x11

Right then time to get all my machines running to make the most of this Smiley, Just gutted I didn't see this earlier Sad

I assume when POW ends the client just wont be able to get any work? and the wallet will start staking again?

No the pools will have to recognize that pow has ended and shut the stratum Servers. I will Do that on suprnova once the last pow block has been found

Dowloaded another version of the software and it works Smiley

One thing, of the two pools listed in the announcement one uses X11 and the other X13, this says to me that they are mining coins and exchanging for Boom rather than mining boom directly?

Also does the mining period end on the 1st?

No the Other pool is probably just documented wrong.

Yes pow will end soon

Then you are using an old Version of sgminer without x13 Support

Ok set the full path to the file (something I have never had to do before) and now I get this error (Now I remember why I stopped mining, such a ballache with configs):

sgminer: -k: Invalid parameter to set_kernel

Currnet bat file reads as :

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
E:\Miners\Boomgpu\sgminer\sgminer -k x13mod -o stratum+tcp://boom2.suprnova.cc:8018 -u xxxx -p xxxx

Try -k x13 without mod

Edit I followed the link on there site and downloaded what appeared to be the latest version of the miner :

Hi guys hope you can help, I have set up mining at http://boom.hashhot.com/ using there instructions but I am getting a 100% rejection rate with the error "low difficulty share"

Any ideas?

Also I assume the mining period ends on the 1st?

On suprnova you'd be good with these settings :

https://boom.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

I keep getting the following error when connecting to there pool :

'sgminer' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Of course you need to download and  install sgminer First Smiley

well yea, its in the same folder

Tried CPU mining and it seems to work but it looks like there are rejections
