which windows/ linux are u running?
I have the wallet on my Windows 7 64bit PC running, and it didnt crash a single time yet.
Also for my Ubuntu BTCTalkcoind, its running, once started, stable without any problems.

Did you try, deleting your blockchain and letting it resyncing again?
But please, before you delete anything, go and backup your appdata/roaming/BTCTalkcoin/wallet.dat and the other important stuff, but most important: don't forget the wallet.dat !!!!!!!

For those with wallet issues please follow steps in the OP!

It's so cool how easily you can get into cryptocurrencies now. I read about bitcoin a couple of years ago but didn't understad a thing. Now I bought a stake in one cryptocurrency just for $20 and will receive a significant share in BCC just for the fact of my registration on the forum! That's just awesome.

My client won't sync. It has 0 active connections. I've downloaded new version and put BTCtalkcoin.conf file into AppData\Roaming\BTCtalkcoin folder.

No one else reported crashing after the update. Just open it again and if it crashes again, we'll look into it.

Windows 8.

I downloaded new wallet, as well as deleted all data in AppsData folder for bitcointalk. (including wallet.dat)

It was fine all morning but when I came home from school had crashed.
