OK, cool.  i use the debug console.  feels like the pure setup is like the other masternodes, just that it's the debug console.

secondly, i see it's 1,000 coins per MN. so i'll set those up as well.

perfect!

hi all,  here is my silly question of the day. . . above i see a ton of masternode setup. so masternodes exist.  . . .however i have the client open. . i don't see a masternode "tab".  am i missing something?  feels like i'll have to run all the MN's through the debug console?  please advise. (i'm a GUI person.  Sad   )

Hi, not a silly question. Yes, at the moment the masternodes are configured with the debug console and configuration file. Making this more user friendly is definitely on our to-do list.

I think this will get BIG if dev comes up with what he is promising on twitter

https://twitter.com/chain_coin/

With the right direction it could be the next PIVX but with only 1000 coins for MASTERNODE it can escalate quickly. Buy while is CHEAP  Grin

Yeah amazing masternode coins . Bought some more today

Still waiting for slack invitation OP

PD: Are the Transfer guides for setting up VPS masternode the same? I'm stuck at compiling and the necessary repositories.

yes, this may help

Quote
However, will need to run these commands to insure a smooth installation.
Code:
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/swapfile bs=64M count=16
sudo mkswap /swapfile
sudo swapon /swapfile
swap file for more memory during compliation

Code:
sudo apt-get install pkg-config
one of the packages missing during ./configure

How do you activate more than one masternode? Are the steps the same, or what are the different steps?

You can follow this old guide for the multiple TX masternodes.  It's pretty similar but the new TX uses only 1 ip per masternodes now.

CHC still can still host multiple MN's on 1 ip by following the guide.

http://thecryptoworld.org/how-to-setup-your-masternode

some youtube videos that may help. again it's for TX, until CHC catches up with the guides, we can use theirs.

Are the addnodes list the same? Or do I have to put different ones?

no, here's a list of nodes i got from the new explorer, add these.

Ok got one Masternode on windows, I received one payout, how to know if it's working or not? I assume it works, but how much payout per/day one masternode should have?

How many did it pay you?

I got one payout of 2 CHC in about 6 hours.

How many connections to the network you have guys? Only 8 here...

i wasn't watching, that 15-20/day seems about right.  i was getting more when there were less mn's  I'm also mining the coin.  it's a great cheap coin to learn from.

Ok got one Masternode on windows, I received one payout, how to know if it's working or not? I assume it works, but how much payout per/day one masternode should have?

to calculate masternode earnings (this works for all masternode coins)

1. find how many block this coin makes per day

   24 hours a day = 86400 seconds / 90 seconds per block = 960 blocks per day

2. find reward for masternodes

   for CHC it's 2 chc per block(for now) for masternodes * 960 blocks = 1920 total coins for MN's

3. find how many masternodes

supposed there's 100 masternodes, then you should earn 1920 / 100 = 19.2 CHC per day per mn
    for 85 mns:
         1920 / 85 ~= 22.6 CHC per day per mn

please check my math, not confirmed, only calculated.

thanks.

*edit, the reward goes down every 2 years.
