im reading these msgs about master node --- and SWAP ...

and CHEE and CHEESE ??

I have about 100k of CHEESE in my stock exchange account ...

im a drop confused ...     these are not VALID ?       they are not on the blockchain ?

I imagine all wallets at exchanges were swapped already ...  true >?
i can't imagine a project would just throw away supporters tokens ......   especially ones that are supposed to be safe and are still being traded ?

please advise ...

I was about to purchase the remaining for the master node --    but want to make sure the 100k coins are OK ??

plz advise my friends

namaste

PS CHEESE COINS WERE PURCHASED ON  4 / 26 2008 -- (i imagine / hope this is after the swap ?? )

Attention everyone, we do not support or have any connection with shared Masternodes or sites that provide the service.
If you decide to embark in such venture, it will be your full and own responsibility if something goes wrong. Thank you

If you do own coins from our old chain CHEE- cheesecoin. No you won't be able to transfer it to our actual blockchain and wallet.
The initial swap was announced in all our media (telegram, facebook, twitter, and here) the second one to help members who had coins at Coinsmarkets also, in April. I'm sorry, but an exception will not be open, since it will be unfair towards other community members who missed the deadlines and also lost their coins.

Every time when a swap happens, what is the reason that if someone misses a deadline those coins get destroyed or not accepted anymore? Why isn't the window to swap the coin open forever? Is there any technical reason for limiting the time window for swaps?

In our particular case, all our swaps were done manually, there is a time frame usually of 20 days or one month announced with the data to begin and deadline. In our last swap we had to implement new blockchain and new masternode wallet. I do not know what is the criteria among other projects. The only time we planned an auto swap was with Coinsmarkets and then they closed. So we did a last manual swap in April, concerned with the members that might be in the old chain, which is no longer operational. As usual it was announced everywhere and since there were cases where people imputed incorrect data on the form, etc. The deadline was  extended for 15 days for those cases, that sent everything on time, but the data was not correct. Plus we didn't ask for a ratio where people with have to give up a tone of coins. The same amount they had of CHEE it was what they received in CHEESE

I understand what you are saying but again, there is no technical reason for setting a deadline. As long as you guys are available you could do the swap forever and nobody would be harmed. It is just one more option to artificially decrease the supply by hoping that some people miss the deadline to keep their assets alive.

Imagine the government sends you a form saying that if you don't sign it within 20 days they'll take a piece of land from you. Imagine you are in hospital for four weeks. Would feel good huh?

Should I understand it solely directed to CHEESE or generally speaking? You should also know that, some coins that were on CM didn't even care about their members and offer a swap. And if you ask about it the answer is: we're sorry, but we can't do nothing about it. - There is no artificial method to decrease supply. The reason the swap happened was not regarded supply, it was because the community voted and wanted a masternode ( referring to the initial swap CHEE-CHEESE)I suggest, you inform yourself first before making assumptions. If you indeed interested on what drives coins to do such deadlines, research about several coins, get to know their projects from the beginning and really know the reasons why things are done. It may be because the supply is great and the coin needs to cut it, it may be because they need to create a new blockchain or wallet, there are several reasons for a swap to happen. As for the deadline, in your daily life you probably get where you are informed about something will change and need a deadline. You are 'oblige' to do it, or else you'll get to pay more or something suspended. The same thing happens with coins. Why should there be an unlimited period for something you are responsible for? It's your asset in the first place, think of it as your 'business', you don't leave your business to employees, and go about your life, do you? If you do, you may be out for a surprise. You also don't leave everything to your broker if you have stocks, you need to follow stuff, so you'll be prepared for the next decision, move to be made.

I was generally speaking and of course referring to CHEESE as well. Again, there is no technical reason to officially limit the swap time-window. You can't come up with a valid point for a deadline. The only thing you can come up with is saying that someone needs to perform the swap (if it's done manually) and if that someone is gone, then that's unlucky. But giving a tough deadline (4 weeks, what if someone is in hospital?) is a joke. It's unfair. It might be theft.

As for your broker example: are you even into stock markets? Do you seriously believe there is something like a "swap with a 4 weeks deadline", and if somebody misses it the former stocks are worthless? Haha, alright dude, you know how these crypto things work in your own favor. You are not the only one. A lot of people exploit the currently so called grey area. But it will come to an end.

If you are generally speaking, my suggestion is to inquire the same exact thing to other coins. Only my comparison you can have a better idea on things. But, if you are directing it to CHEESE, I already given the reason why we decided to to do what we did. Things are done and will continue to be the way they are. Not only for CHEESE, but other coins as well. There is nothing else to discuss. Unless you have an hidden agenda and decided to make CHEESE the place to preferred place to FUD. But, even for that, there is a solution.

Cheese strives to tackle the shortcomings of traditional transfer methods. Our vision is to establish a trustworthy, confidential, and efficient worldwide financial transaction platform  a safe haven for all users to interact and transfer digital assets at will, without a single concern, their activities are monitored. Therefore, They are determinant to set an environment where privacy is held in high regard and reciprocated with trust and respect.

Meanwhile traditional payment bands have helped to cure and get back to life ur sister being known worldwide as pocket change beggar enticing others to use her as bait for fishing. There is quite a nice chunk of money incoming from people who have exhibited the willingness of being donative after seeing fish men puncturing her body with large fishing hooks and dunking her as a prey in deep waters around northern coast of imbecilic american continent.

Yes it does not come out quite honest if you set a time frame after which changes can occur. Not everyone follows the project all the time and can fly and then there will be a lot of negativity. You ought to be much more careful with this, or people will not understand such a thing and will find it a fraud.

I feel there shouldn't be a timeline or deadline at all. It's similar to misappropriation and I can't think of a good reason why that should happen to anyone.
