Shit so i got ripped by some phishing shit that somehow got first result on google, nice..

And it's not even a paid ad that mostly tricks many people, but a very skillful manipulation to remove a legitimate page from search results, and to have a fake service at the top. However, the second search result in my case is the ChipMixer signature campaign thread, and it would be logical for me to look for any information about a service I would like to use.

Next time you will surely be more careful because it is best to learn from your own mistakes. Also don't let that discourage you, it can happen to any beginner, even to the more experienced.

Yes you got scammed, and you should never blindly trust google search results, always try to verify if website is legit than bookmark them, and add extension uBlock origin to hide scam ads.
I just searched for term chipmixer is multiple search engines and only DuckDuckGo and Yendex game me chipmixer.com as first result, but there is still la lot of fake results below.
One more thing you can do is to always check domain date registration, scam XYZ website was registered last month:

Code:
Domain Name: CHIPMIXER.XYZ
Registry Domain ID: D280968252-CNIC
Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.iisp.com
Registrar URL: http://nicenic.net/

Yep, and unfortunately you're the reason why they keep making these. They don't care much about what's the official ChipMixer or where they're ranked in SEO; they just want that one wrench who'll screw it up.

Sorry for your loss, I hope you didn't send much.

Looks like the scammer also owns chipmixer dot one:

The original copyrighted website design owned by ChipMixer, Inc (represented online by https://chipmixer.one/articles/index). How did you get to the .xyz site? Google? It's the first site Google shows me when searching for "chipmixer".

I've stumbled upon something weird here, on the bottom of the page there are 4 linked DMCA

One of them:
https://lumendatabase.org/notices/26886803
makes total sense as far as I understand it

But this one:
https://lumendatabase.org/notices/25295569

Yeah I did. Chipmixer.PHISHING.xyz and chipmixer.com
How did you get to the .xyz site? Google? It's the first site Google shows me when searching for "chipmixer".
I'm more and more disappointed in Google nowadays: they used to take pride in providing the very best search results, but when searching for chipmixer they usually show a phishing site first. My browser even remembers I reported them to Google a long time ago. Google doesn't care.
And every time someone falls for it, the scammers have more funding to continue their scam Sad

Looking for campaign manager? Contact icopress!
I have everything noted down and I sent them the information they ask for when you run into issues on the site through email.

If you have everything noted down please check if:
1. The ChipMixer website you've visited is one of those posted in the first post of this topic.
2. Maybe you can restore your session and see if the bitcoin address you've sent to is 100% identical with the deposit address posted on the website

Yeah I did. Chipmixer.xyz and chipmixer.com

.xyz has never been a TLD used by ChipMixer.com.They use .com and only .com (on the clearnet).
So if you used that .xyz, you got scammed

I sent an email but it has been over 24 hours and I have not heard anything back from you,
will this be solved or are you guys scamming?
Are you sure you used official Chipmixer website or their v3 tor onion version?
I have seen people getting scammed before by using phishing websites especially using clearnet website, or by searching chipmixer website in google.

https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
I used your service and my transaction has over 12+ confirmations, but i never received my chips or anything. In the Deposit step it shows no funds either.
It also shows no confirmed transaction on step 1.

From what I remember from doing some tests, have you tried skipping straight to step 2 to see if your chips are there?(don't press ahead to step 3 yet though)

If that doesn't work, you're probably better off waiting for them to respond by email (make sure you have your session token noted down too). Support can take around 3 days to respond sometimes but they're fast at resolving problems once they're aware of them.

It got weirder, it looks like the site currently uses the wrong certificate
Confirmed here.
This is using LetsEncrypt certificate anyone can get for free, and that interactio.live domain was registered this year by amazon Undecided
I don't remember what kind of certificate was used originally by Chipmixer, but this stinks more and more like some kind of attack, better to avoid using clearnet when it goes online.

Code:
Domain Name: interactio.live

Probably some ddos attack or scheduled maintenance.

The certificate is only valid for *.interactio.live.

It's offline from my end. But the Onion site works fine, and is better for privacy anyway.
See Tor Project to download the Tor browser.
It's down for me also and I tried with different browsers.
I know we can always use onion website that I usually recommend, but it would be good to hear from official Chipmixer account with explanation what happened in this case.
Probably some ddos attack or scheduled maintenance.
