What should I do to make "-p stats" working on the pools bench? if I change the name to "ccminer/coolMiner-v.1.1" it will be supported?
Just for fun so we can compete for top of the leader-board :-).

I tried building like in those YouTube tutorials and it worked on my PC, Could you guide me to the right Linux build tutorial the will let me build in the correct way e so you all could use it? - thanks!
I'm not an advanced Linux user Smiley. Unfortunately couldn't help.
Write to HiveOS dev team https://forum.hiveos.farm/discussion/55/ccminer-forks, they could help. This miner for HiveOS will have perspective

Update:  Please update the miner to v1.1 because the first version had connection problems to Nicehash EU stratum from different areas and got stuck "retry after 5 seconds".
The new v1.1 version  will mine on Angrypool when switching to Dev Pool Dudes pool on the Fee time.
Also the CYCLE_TIME  between pool changes increase like you asked.
Please let me know if there is any more problems.

I am just an human, I had to get some sleep :-),

I am not a Dev, not every one that plays with the code should be called "Dev",  we all know the real Dev's , I am just simple dude (Avengers:Infinity War?).

Maybe open your code then?

I have tried again with the instruction written in the Install file:
Code:
** How to compile on Ubuntu (16.04 LTS)

First, install Cuda toolkit and nVidia Driver, and type `nvidia-smi` to check if your card is detected.

Install dependencies
```sudo apt-get install libcurl4-openssl-dev libssl-dev libjansson-dev automake autotools-dev build-essential```
Ubuntu is now shipped with gcc 6 or 7 so please install gcc/g++ 5 and make it the default (required by the cuda toolkit)
```
sudo apt-get install gcc-5 g++-5
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/gcc gcc /usr/bin/gcc-5 1
```
Then use the helper ./build.sh in ccminer source folder, edit configure.sh and the Makefile.am if required.
```
./build.sh
./ccminer --version
```
Hope it works now,
P.S: why on Linux the miner looks working on "high priority" and it's effecting the system performance?(using browser while mining... etc').
P.S.2:OMG Look at that!!
This file https://nofile.io/f/VvDfyzrk8mk/coolMiner-x64L2.tar.gz needs to be compiled or just replace ccminer file in Ubuntu? I used HiveOS mining system based on Ubuntu 16.04
If I replace the file miner dislayed - "ccminer exited, cooldown a bit"
I am happy to hear your suggestions - what lyra2z coin and Pool should I point the the miner to when switching to the Fee time?
I don't have experience with angrypool/bsod/arcpool/gos pools, which one should be more stable/reliable ?
Maybe GINcoin on angrypool.com?
They have large hashrate in this network and are prety stable. (for me)
I am not a Dev, not every one that plays with the code should be called "Dev",  we all know the real Dev's , I am just simple dude (Avengers:Infinity War?).
I am more like an Overclocker who improved the performance of the Hardware, and not a Developer because I did not developed the Hardware, I see many new closed source miners are comming out that some of them not crediting the source ccminer Devs, and you can tell in a sec on which ccminer they are built on, So let's call "Dev's" only to the real Dev's behind the great ccminer forks that we are using :-).
Sry all , I had bad week with all the MPH Zcoin drama, and now after switching to Nicehash lyra2z the bad luck is following me and I have problems using the EU stratum  Sad.
I am happy to hear your suggestions - what lyra2z coin and Pool should I point the the miner to when switching to the Fee time?
And like I sad - if you have problems with the miner- please switch to ccminer until I compile new version without nicehash
Since this is ccminer.. Source? on Github?
Hello,
I quote the message above as i also want to have a clear answer from dev. I don't care about having a dev fee, but I really care about transparency...
Lol. Whenever you get the sources from SP_, then you'll get the sources from small time developers.
ROFL, you made me spill my drink LOL, this is a masterpiece for signature for "Mining (Altcoins)" subforum  Grin .
Callisto Network - Security Audits & Cold Staking
Great project! I would just like to know if with my config I would have a benefit to use this miner, I have gtx 1060 6go, and I read you use 1070s and 1080s.
This is interesting...
I like Lyra2z algo and always looking for better miner software-
but you should leave people options to reduce or remove fee.
Also I don't see any reaction about issues that people have.
He posted 5 hours ago that the issue with with the EU Nicehash server and until they fix it or he can improve the mechanism, that  he recommends using CCminer.  As for the fee, why give the option?  If this lowers heat output I think that is well worth 1%.  And as a matter of fact, I think 1% for any mining software is fair.
