Also, semux made a similar one to DeepOnion but semux also has a good promising blockchain so i can't really say it counts.
Which similarities between SEMUX and DEEP ONION did you imply?
I think those two are very different, honestly.

If I'm not mistaken, I think he is referring to the airdrop implementation that both projects has conducted and such airdrops could be a good example of achieving a much wider distribution for the token.

Can the users buy the virtual land from the vr world application only? (since those are non-fungible tokens), or can we shop them via markets like opensea.io - I am asking because i have invested (in the past) on the virtual city where you could buy land tokens only trough their site.

I am just wondering what happened with your investment, are people still interested in virtual lands in your platform? I know the economy has not been great and we cant expect to get the same values like back then but i am just wondering if people are still interested in that project.

Pfft, i sold them at loss. It wasn't a very good dapp to begin with, no depth on the gameplay and everyday felt more and more like being a part of ponzi. It all depends on the platform and the developers.
Any experience, even negative, is experience. The most important thing is not to repeat mistakes in the future.

CryptoTalk.Org - Get Paid for every Post!

All we can do is wait for the announcement. I'm already hyped and want to know what kind of distribution model they have in mind. PoW still sounds like a possibility imo.

I hope to finish the announcement on sunday, saturday I give a cryptocurrency workshop for a group (we do this almost every weekend) share the world and get great together.
Just know this involves no ICO/STO just to be clear again!

Just out of curiosity, are the workshops filmed and can we see them online?

Ofcourse they are, virtual land is a great deal. Ofcourse it needs time to evolve, but look at the other projects cheapest land parcels are like $400 in a bad location.
And this is in the bear market. So that means even from this point people have x20 on their land parcels. And no It should not be a investment item, but a use item.

Did you sell any parcel so far or just looking for the demand?

No we did not sell any land parcels, the first land parcels will all start at the same time and will have an announcement. This will make it fair and wont give anyone a additional start.

What exactly has the Team prepared so far to start the development of a chain? I hope it is a wise decision and brings a lot of fruit to the project and we, investors

Well creating a simple POW chain can take less than a week, but we are now talking about all options with our lawyers. We might even have a different approach.

But one thing is for sure, we wont do an ICO or STO.

I don't see many options if you're not going for the ICO/STO route. An airdrop? It's really bad and I don't like it, mainly because people just want to sell their free coins, making them useless

Yes, an airdrop isn't really ideal either. People should have to do something for their tokens. Otherwise, they will just dump and move on. So either mining or maybe something like the Deep Onion signature campaign? However, I'd prefer a distribution over POW mining.

Deeponion is a case that worked before. And as far as i know, no project tried to copy that method which is interesting i must say.

Yeah that airdrop method of DeepOnion was surprisingly effective  but they have to think also of other ways to attract supporters / people into the project. By the way, Bitsend also did that kind of airdrop before DeepOnion did which is also an effective one. Smiley

Hi everyone,

Quick update we got the green light from the lawyers for a specific distribution model we suggested. Now we can start writting and hopefully announce the new direction soon!
I think you all will like it.

So now I'm a little bit confused, no more PoW distribution? At least is what I get from your words, maybe I don't understand them very well Cheesy

That's a very good question and I am also interested to know about their views on this.

good question indeed, well the first sale will be handled by us, but after its a decentralized service so indeed opensea.io can list it.

Will take some time before they probably will, but its only good for liquidity of the land parcels. But we will offer a nice design that people will love to use.
Also dont forget that is only a small use-case for the token so we dont see this as lost value for our token/coin.

After losing at tokencard,we dont trust anything like topic about payment service. What do you think?

do you mean service like Tenx ? Well they are struggling for regulation, but i think in the future they will be great and huge companies.( the ones standing in the end).
I used the Tenx card couple of time and its cool you can shop with a coin thats high at that moment. Can create huge discounts! Would i say leave a lot of money on it NO NEVER. Own keys are prio!

I just wish is not going to be the usual "get your $5 worth of x token", with the retweet regist here and there but something more developed.  Cool
There is something good that could come out from this project if it not falling in the usual mistakes

That sounds promising. It will be interesting to hear what the model will look like. I will refresh this thread more often.  Wink

But which world is the virtual?

Grin I am more and more confused to respond to something like this, the quality in the VR / AR has grown a lot, it is almost possible to confuse. I think we can tell the difference only in the symptoms, unless CosmosCR brings us even more improvements and quality

That's a good question. If the ownership of the virtual land is proven by holding an unique non-fungible token, I assume it is possible to trade this token and, in this way, also transfer the ownership of the virtual land to someone else. The question is where can they be traded then? I guess CosmosCR needs some sort of marketplace on their platform then, where you can buy/sell your NFTs for CYBR?
