I am more of the invest and hold long term type, vs day trading and worrying about the price day to day. So I am not worried about the price next week. For me, the decision to hold or dump comes down to whether or not I think the CIRC team is committed to delivering all that they have promised. Actually the casino is the thing I am most excited for, as something like that can attract attention from those who would otherwise not give a damn about crypto.
So far we have the beautiful wallet, unlocking panels, lounges, and the bot is finally getting beta tested. There is still A LOT of work that needs to be done to deliver on the rest of their promises though and I do get the feeling that they have fallen behind a bit and hoped to have more done by now. The culling was supposed to start days after the DPOS stage ended but it is obvious that isn't going to be the case. Delays are fine, I am a patient guy. Just as long as the team is capable and committed enough to keep working at it.
I take pause because I am virtually certain that some or all of the CIRC devs were behind at least 1 other dead and abandoned project I lost BTC on. I won't sweat about that too much though. People learn from their experience, and just because earlier projects didn't pan out, doesn't mean they aren't truly committed to this one.
I am always the pragmatist, so I am not going to put too much faith or trust in any developer or coin. Getting emotionally invested in coins is generally not wise. So I can't say anything for sure here, but do I think the CIRC team intends on sticking by this one and making good on their promises? Right now, I am leaning toward "yes". So, even though I could be selling off my coins and taking 1000% profit, I will continue to hold and stake at 5% interest after the vDPOS stage. These things are always a gamble but I've made more right decisions than wrong, which is why I am still here after being involved with altcoins for nearly 2 and a half years. I can live myself if I am making the wrong decision here. Let the chips fall where they may.
Absolutely agree. I get a little overly optimistic sometimes, but if the Devs keep on and stick to the plan, this should be big. Can only trust that they will. Most of these coins fail because people either intend to scam or fall way short of pie-in-the-sky ideas. At least this plan is achievable without inventing whole new ideas. If they follow through, I think many will forget they even put a Bot out there. But, that is only a vision and hope at this point. Up the them. This is only a good bet on a good plan at this point.
