Is there a way to run a rig of mixed (750ti and 970 for example) GPUS with ccminer?

You're having problems with it? I can run my 750's and my 760 (kepler) in one ccminer without specials mods or something Tongue
Though I tend to just run my 760 in a seperate process (using -d param), so I can easily switch to gaming-mode without having to restart just the 750s ^^"

aslong as you have the display drivers (for either one) installed ccminer wont care what is installed. so just plug and use Smiley

Wow, I always thought Australia was behind the rest of the world, I have them in stock at my local computer store.

I'm really impressed with the 750ti GA Blacks but I want to try EVGA as well, so I'll grab the 970 Superclocked and see how it goes.

Here are my average hashrates for the following 970 Card. Just came in today.

x11   5700
x13   4700
x15   4200
qubit   8400
Nist5   22300

Driver 344.11
EVGA 970 SC ACX v1.0

nist5 is the only right one, for the other the gpu isn't running at full hash

Thinking I might be able to change the fanspeed settings myself with the bios tweaker I foolishly opened GPU-Z and tried to save the bios to a file. When you do this the screen goes blue and grey and just hangs. I guess GPU-Z needs to add support for the 900 line of GPU's.  We will have to wait for the bios update from EVGA it seems. The card is not as intolerable as everyone seems to think it is. I only hear minimal noise in my case when the card is at idle. But this may be due to my case's acoustics drowning out any noise.

Nice, tks!

At least a 970´s hash average.

Hi first of all thanks for your great work here !
I'm having a little problem while configuring your tool.

I used this guide: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=3231.0
Everything worked for me until i try to ./configure .

It says my libcurl is outdated :

checking for curl-config... no
checking whether libcurl is usable... no
configure: error: Missing required libcurl >= 7.15.2

I searched myself but only find an OSX solution but im on linux(debian) which even with changed paths didn't work.

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16246352/how-do-i-specify-ldflags-and-cppflags-for-configure

So do you have any idea how to fix that problem ?

Regards Phil

Running,
Code:
sudo apt-get install libcurl4-openssl-dev
should fix it.

BTW, I've found that getting CUDA and display drivers working on debian is a pain.  That's why I switched to ubuntu server.  I even wrote a guide.

Yay Yay Yay hehe thank you guys. I'm mining my first pipettes  Cheesy

You we're right but i also needed to apt-get automake

I only wanted to understand the process of mining a little bit.

./cudaminer -l K -o stratum ...
[2014-09-24 00:51:59] accepted: 2114/2114 (100.00%), 59.41 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-09-24 00:52:08] GPU #0: GeForce GTX 650, 59.45 khash/s
Any better performance ideas

Anyone with a Debian distro remember  whereis nvidia-cuda-toolkit -> nvidia-cuda-toolkit: /usr/lib/nvidia-cuda-toolkit not just cuda.

Yes driver and cuda was bit difficult but i fixed that in some time. I had switched from windows a year ago to Kali linux for obvious reasons.

I also wanted to state that i'm using litecoinpool, org which made it very easy for me  Kiss
What do you guys think of the future of script based currencies ?

Greetings

Is this beast worth it ? Or will it be junk in 2015 ?

https://zeusminer.com/product/zeusminer-volcano-300mhs1000wscrypt-asic-miner/?raf=972

Beacuse it only mines a specific scrypt no sha etc !?

ICO? Not even once.
i plotted over 3tb and am just leaving it for now, im not mining, just running the pool on my plots.
wont make anything but who cares

It's not like I'm doing this for profit either, I missed that boat as I thought it was giong to crash waaay faster. I just started tinkering with it out of boredom.  Smiley

Anyone's still playing with burst? I managed to get a 780 Ti to plot at 100 MB/s (~25k n/m).

Yeah I saw your results , Im mining it and my plots are ploted with 280X and with 750Ti

Edit: Nevermind, I forgot to create the output folder on a new partition so it plotted air. Now getting 15.4 n/m.

for anyone interested in sli 970's details, http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_970_SLI/9.html

seems to out perform a 295x2 Wink
980 sli 4-way looks better (actually 3-way looks like the best compromise between overkill and filthy rich  Grin)

edit 2: what is this compute 5.2 they are talking about on the blog, I can't even find a ref. on nvidia site....)
CUDA Toolkit with sm52 support:
https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-downloads-geforce-gtx9xx
In the Nvidia forum they talk about bigger shared memory:
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/776043/cuda-programming-and-performance/whats-new-in-maxwell-sm_52-gtx-9xx-/
that's strange, the perf should be better then...
It would be interesting if someone with a 970 or 980 could try to compile with the latest cuda 6.5
(I won't download it, until I get one...)

Asus GTX970 -XCN 8500kh/s with ccminer-djm34-m7v7
Driver 344.11
Very bad result for me?
Help !!!

don't know... well will see that in two weeks min...
on a side note, that's more than a r9 290x

edit: doesn't make much sense... you should get at least twice the hashrate of the 750ti (256bit mem bus against 128bit)

Try to check if you are in boost mode (just in case) and may-be try to increase the memory clock
