Can that be confirmed? That private messages are also counted? I'm curious how they are able to keep track of all of this, and especially the 100 characters rule. Regardless, this is making everyone become more social on here, and with out signatures at the bottom, expose more people to this great airdrop.
We only count posts but one can jump (according to above) BCT rank levels such as jr member to member rank just by sending PM Ahhh, thank you! That clears everything up, posts for DeepOnion qualification, and if you have that then PM's could add to your overall activity, perfect!

I couldn't confirm anything, but, it does "seem" like it to me. I have honestly no idea how activity is calculated, for all I know it could be based off the number of purple giraffes in your pocket at the time, I'm just guessing and observing

I found out that even private messages seem to count towards activity, which is nice, because I have been sending a few back and forth here, making arrangements etc.

Thank you for posting those rules and making them clear. So just by replying to this post it counts as one of the 10 posts as long as it is at least 100 characters in length. Shouldn't be too difficult. I probably have 5 or so threads that I keep track of on a daily basis.

- You must put the DeepOnion promotion signature in your bitcointalk account, all the time during the airdrop promotion period. If for whatever reasons the signature removed during the period, your account will be disqualified for future distributions (even if you put them back).
- Junior members and above are eligible to apply, Newbies are not qualified.
- All accounts registered bitcointalk.org after July 12, 2017 are not qualified.
- Negative trust account, stolen accounts will be disqualified.
- Dev team has the right to reject any accounts that wishes to participate with or without a reason (of course dev team will not abuse the right, but dev team has the final say on it).
- To avoid quick dumps, all accounts receiving distributions will need to keep 90% of the coins received on the account, during the whole distribution/airdrop period. Any move results greater than 10% of the airdropped coin on the account will disqualify the account from receiving more coins in the future distributions. Coins received from other means such as mining, bought from exchange etc. cannot be limited and can be freely traded.
- To receive airdrop, bitcointalk account must be an active account, and is required to post at least 10 valid posts per week with more than 100 characters in each post. Links and quotes are not counted as post content
- If you miss one week posting over 10 valid posts you will be excluded from only that week's distribution. if you don't follow the 10 post rule for a cumulative 3 weeks, then you will be excluded from future distribution permanently.

I have mined about 45 of them sweet onions by now I'm HODLing on to these and will continue to mine indefinitely, now waiting for the precious airdrop Should be really interesting to see when this hits exchanges, demand seems high!
Hey Tim, what sort of rig are you using for mining and at what hash rate? A lot of people aren't aren't gpu mining because they don't think they will hit blocks.
