hello i want change the blockchain(roaming) in another directory can you help me ?

With deposits and blockchain banking we should be as accurate as we can, the unit of time in XDN Universe is a 4 minute average block.

But 4 minute is an average time, and nobody knows for sure how many blocks will be mined in one month.

So we should express time in blocks to be accurate as we should. But user can view an estimated time of deposit expiration and other information about deposit with double click on it in DigitalNote GUI wallet.

Your private keys are unique and ANY ducknote, darknote or digitalnote private key will work with DigitalNote XDN.

All you need is a .keys file. Just open your .keys file with the new DigitalNote wallet File->Open Wallet , like you make it with your .wallet file.

Another way of migration is to import your exported plain text private key with File->Import private key

Remember you can keep your private key from XDN DigitalNote "blockchain account" just in your brain.

Yes duckN… to DarkN… to DigitalNote migration works , usually no problem … just import keys , maybe you need to backup your keys in duckNote first , I'd recommend ; I had no duckNote Wallet only DarkNote … no trouble

Thanks Dev for the awesome deposit feature.  One suggestion, rather than having to enter the deposit time in number of blocks, change it to number of months.  I know, I know..  I can just take the number of months I want and times it by 11,000, but hey, I'm lazy.

Such a feature is very useful in the real world economics to pay regularly or upon deadline expiration  

Deposit is a DigitalNote transaction. As any transaction it can be a big one, so miners will include it in block after some time, or this transaction will be rejected by miners and you will receive your XDN back. Than try lower amount. This happens due to structure of your (users) inputs/outputs.
Just wait some time before it will be included in blockchain.
Deposit "counter" starts after transaction is in blockchain.

Digital Note is a first cryptocurrency with decentralized proof-of-work blockchain banking implementation.

And here how it works:

Every XDN user can make a deposit. In general deposit is a "lock" for your coins for some time with some interest when "lock" expires. When user make a deposit, he choose the time and amount of deposit, after deposit made, deposited DigitalNotes can not be spend before deposit time expires. So with deposits, the amount of "active" digitalnotes in circulation becomes lower. Every user of XDN network can verify the amount of network deposited XDN units and the amount of active XDN in circulation. (check print_stat command)

Some values:

    150XDN - minimum deposit amount
    11000 blocks ~1 month - minimum deposit time
    11000*12*10 blocks ~10 years - maximum deposit time
    Annual interest rate 0.4% - 1.094%

Interest rate depends only on deposit time.

Some example:

Alice has 10000XDN and she wants to deposit all for about 1 year. An annual interest rate for that deposit will be about 1%, so after 1 year Alice will receive 10000XDN (Alice initial funds) + 100XDN (Alice interest)

Deposits and Proof-of-activity (PoA)

Deposit is a new CryptoNote instance. With deposits we can implement a very useful element of crypto security, called Proof-of-activity. It is a variant of hybrid PoW/PoS process. DigitalNote is a proof-of-work cryptocurrency, even now, and deposits are implemented on the top of pow blockchain. We are working on proof-of-activity implementation on the top of deposits, to make XDN the most secure crypto.

DigitalNote Alias DNS-JSON API. We would also like to announce that we are working on contiguous project called DigitalName. It is a DNS-JSON API for cryptocurrency aliases.    I am happy to say that the announce of DigitalNote XDN deposits wallet implementation will be on Friday, 10 July.
We will introduce bank alike "Deposits" in DIgitalNote GUI wallet, so every user can start using in easy and nice way.
Blockchain bank alike deposit is one of XDN key features, no other cryptocurrency has such a technology. Deposits are implemented on the top of DigitalNote Proof-of-work blockchain and multi-sigs.
