one thing about crypto is that you need to follow the news about all coins you own, because swaps, some other changes are happening all the time and if you miss something then you just lose your money. So that's why it is good that you guys told about the swap some time ago and there is quite normal time frame to make swap.

You need to wait 8 hrs for coin maturity, and its not based on percentage but on the weight of your coins on the whole network.
