As some members of the Diamond DMD community may be aware, a history book about DMD is in progress. It will cover historical events from 2013-2017 (80-90 pages). A front cover (and title) already exists:

I am talking about something that would benefit the ecosystem of the coin and which people could participate in.
such projects are more than welcome
my time resources full used up by run DMD Multipool DMD CLoudmining and the task in DMD Diamond Foundation
i can runt another timeconsuming project
but DMD is a open ecosystem
anyone can create services which are powered with DMD
example a masternode hosting service
or even a shared masternode service (not blockchainpowerd as the solution will be we plan
but u have a year headstart to establish a conventional masternode hosting/sharing portal)
we invite people to create business on top of DMD

Really looking forward to DMD's future. The whitepaper really does open up a whole area of things to do and it's good to know that i'm thinking a long similar lines, even before i read to the end of it!

Even without taking into account the difference of certain technical specifications Diamond has a great name.
it's its own brand and it distinguishes us from other abcdeCoins using Masternode or POW & POS system

Looks like DMD is doing well holding around the 100,000 sats mark. The more volume is great too. annnd V3.0 isn't even released yet! whoa!
So I am trying to think of services that can be brought to the masternodes over the years to come. What would people like to see? What is very much needed?
Would a diamond cooperative bank be out of the question?
Could the interest from a masternode be used to provide gain for others who invest/lockaway their coins, a bit like the diamond cloud mining service?
just ideas really, to ponder the possibilities..

anything centralized and called a bank is not our goal and would need some kind of banking licence
main blockchain invention is to be trustless and decentral and remove man in the middle aka banks

another reason why we removed POW
dear miners do u understand that u place 80% of all POW hashrate into one pool?
(40% is 80% of POW because the other 50% are POS)
do u understand that only our hybrid wallet technology and POS is keep the chain secure
when miners dont follow the spread hashrate ruleset?
please everyone who understand spread hashrate
no pool should mine more than 20% of blocks

DMD Diamond s a 4+ years old coin, lots of transactions, it takes some time to sync. However, you need to do it only once. You can also use presynced chain if you want, you can find it on page 1 of this thread.

What will change in cloudmining with the V3.0?
nothing
beside the DMD reactor bonus payouts will be moved to a once per month instead of twice per month
reason is we split the DMD Reactor into 3 address all running on different servers and in POS mode
to give the POS network a solide backbone
each month another one of this 3 addresses will roll out 70% of its POS income as a DMD Cloudmining bonus payout
30% stay in reactor addresses to increase their earning power
