Okay guys I've downloaded the new wallet and the latest blockchain from the OP and I still get 0 connections right now for my wallet? Any ideas what I can do to fix that?
did u delete old peers.dat?
do u run without diamond.conf?
give it some time to find peers
actual backbone nodes have a lot connections and sometimes u need a few minutes until u get a slot
once they shared a good peerlist with u in future u will find peers faster

original was 7 days
3 days was just because we did fear the transition into 6x faster POS
but as we did all see the transition did go smooth even with effective 9 days min age for POS
so no more need for this 3 days
and as explained already we did discuss it and decide against a mandatory wallet release for something that is not broken
from security aspect the ratio min age to max age is better when higher in well established networks with lot participants
our 9:30 is a perfect value
this together with our hybrid POW/POS security give us a great network security

No .conf file required for latest wallet, permanent nodes are built in.
Just load and allow to sync automatically.

even we try to grow slow in value we cant ignorre the mechanics of market
so expect a phase with faster value gains until first weak hands are willing to sell DMD again
I think in the current situation the term 'weak hands' has a very positive meaning. Without those unsung heroes
we'll have some rapid price growth which might not be sustainable. But of course if that's what the market wants it will get it. u know what i mean
weak hand in the sence that even a "only" 100-200% value gain is motivating them to cash out
i agree without this dudes noone would be able buy DMD
lets praise the weak hands and the dmd rain they spend sometimes
for us who are diamonds-dirsty
