Thanks for the quick reply. I have done everything you suggest and I'm fully synced up to the latest block. I had also deleted all files from the Diamond folder, except wallet.dat.

But, when I closed the wallet, I got the following message: "Error: A fatal internal error occured, see debug.log for details". Here's the relevant part:
2018-04-07 10:47:35 *** System error while flushing: CDB : Error -30974, can't open database
2018-04-07 10:51:24 CDBEnv::EnvShutdown : Error -30974 shutting down database environment: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery
2018-04-07 10:51:24 Shutdown: done

What do I do now?

if you have often similar problems then recommend using a different folder location for your wallet files.
Example of starting the wallet with the DMD folder next to the executable diamond-qt.exe
23. Q: Alternative way

u can also try Q19
https://diamond-info.github.io/#q19

backup wallet priv keys
then stop wallet rename wallet to wallet.dat.old
restart wallet (it creates a new empty wallet.dat
and there then import the former created dumpwallet file
this way u have a new wallet.dat file that know all ur former wallet priv keys even the 1000 reserve keys

wait until all sync bars are gone
then wait 2 more minutes

then unlock wallet
~
Why need to wait several minutes before unlocking wallet, cryptonit? I am a little bit curious about those required wating time. Would you mind explaining a little bit more about this.
Thanks a lot for your clarifications in advance.

its a timing thing (blockchain sync finished but still some masternode sync stuff can be done even if sync bar disapears)
if u start staking to early u might be unlucky in first 1-2 min after sync finsihed and POS engine not really start because some background sync not finished

we might improve behavior in a future release but for now its low priority on to do list
because how often u need to restart ur wallet? in my case i run most wallets months in a row without a restart
and when i restart i can wait the 2 min before unlock

this is a once to know thing and then its just normal practice at start wallets

I have checked and read Diamond's whitepaper carefully. It looks good. All masternodecoins are standing good and growing very fast. Especially if this is POS coin.

I have downloaded 3.0.1 on Windows 10, but no matter what I tried (rebooting, resyncing, etc.) I cannot get staking to work. The wallet unlocks, but staking remains inactive.

Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your advice!

dont unlock to fast

reboot wallet
wait until all sync bars are gone
then wait 2 more minutes

then unlock wallet

it can take up to 5 min until diamond symbol become blue

also it stay grey if at the moment no coins mature (because maybe they did find a block all and have to wait 640 block to mature)

also make sure ur wallet is +/- 2 on same blocknumber as https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/

if not follow guide Q18 https://diamond-info.github.io/#q18

Good News!!!!! Diamond is now also supported in the IOS version of coinomi

so now IOS mobile users can enjoy the coinomi wallet including DMD too
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/coinomi-wallet/id1333588809

on android the coinomi wallet support us since a few months already
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet

please be aware that mobile wallets can not take part in POS or MN coin generation
for that u still need a full node

Finally, Nokia has come back and on the way to be great again!
Nokia has reached significant achievements in its efforts to revive traditional phones, which had solid positions in memory of their supporters several years ago (maybe the generation Nokia users ten years ago).
Now, Nokia has planned to join the blockchain-based services, in particular healthcare services. With powerful supports from Smartphones, mobile devices; Nokia can make it come true.

I think we should try to get DMD to be listed on some other big exchanges since bittrex has delisted so many coins recently

Agree with you at the point!
Last year and earlier months of this year, the forum changed to be likely a dumping area - opened-landfill - for spammers, scammers and spamming-bots. It has made forum users felt a little bit annoying. Honestly, I experienced worst time since the day I joined the forum due to exponential growths of both crypto-market and the forum users.
It has become pretty bad on bitcointalk, some threads are just page after page of meaningless post that have literally nothing to do with the topic at hand, it gets pretty annoying if you're actually trying to get a question answered and anytime the thread comes up as "unread" it ends up being some meaningless post. I don't understand how the operators of the signature campaigns let it go unnoticed?! LOL all that 2017 ICO money going to waste there...

You are likely too lazy to use search function of the forum and Google. I can not believe that Senior members are not able to find available answers for such a basic question. That is one of the main reasons why merit system launched to control spammers better, and prevent lazy users, like you, to rank up.
You mention that the merit system was put in place to try and stop this. But how does the merit system really work? Does your rank have to have a certain amount of merit to reach higher levels?

answer to Q18 is solving this
make sure u delete peers.dat too
https://diamond-info.github.io/#q18

once we after block 130000 this issues will be solved the new 3.0.1.0 wallets will then stop to talk with old wallets

please everyone be aware that at latest on april 6th u MUST update ur wallet to the latest one 3.0.1.0
all old wallets will at block 130000 lose connection to mainnet

Thanks a lot especially to you cryptonit for this reminder to update the diamond wallet. You and your collegues are really great in your communication. I just did the update and it went so easy. Me as a non technical gifted person I always get wet hands, when I need to do such wallet updates. For others reading this, here the newest wallet on github: https://github.com/DMDcoin/Diamond/releases

I have problems to sync. My wallet is is struck at block 126230 (3 hours behind). It looks I'm not the only one. Some of the peers I'm connected to are on that block, while others are on 126834. What can I do?

exact same issue here, same block stuck on 126230. and all my coins currently immature.
it would appear we are on wrong chain, I have stakes that are minted with around 50+ confirmations
that I suspect are orphans.
reinstalling didn't fix. (latest version wallet)

Finally fixed. Ended up just deleting everything  (except wallet.data of course)
and installing from scratch latest version then closed out the empty virgin wallet and
pasted my wallet.data into the DMDV3 folder.
Re-opened wallet and as expected my last 8 stakes are all  (?) orphans.
But I'm back up on correct chain and staking. All good.

Coins that outlived Mt Gox, Silkroad, Silkroad2, NewYork License, Cryptsy, Mint, Paycoin, ERC20 explosion MtGox2 and forked during the height of Bitcoin are not ICOs - they are proven coins.

Now toss in 120+ Masternodes with 10,000 each to create scarcity.

This coin is neither a buy or sell... it’s a true hoarding coin. There are so few coins that have a road map and so few that have a deep history of following it.

Hint - Magic minting coinsize is 350.

For anyone lurking around thinking about a masternode coin to buy or a coin to stake this comment should sound some alarms. If your looking at all the coins on masternodes.online remember that sooo many of them are so new and not time tested at all. Masternode coins are very inflated right now, late last year there was only around 30 coins on masternode sites, now there is 200+.....most of these will just not last and are mere clones.

Time test coins like DMD with rock solid support/development will obviously survive and be a good long term investment, trust me been holding for 4+ years and always been satisfied.

I can attest to this comment and second everything said!

Had been those DMD staking or simply sitting secured in a wallet? If there had been staking the number of DMD do they produce?

there is no minimum value but to have a realistic chance to find regulary blocks u should aim for at least 200 DMD

200 DMD find on average a block every 10 days
100 DMD find on average a block every 20 days
50 DMD or less can take one or multiple months to find a block

all that average block find chance time mean active wallet in staking mode times
that means online and staking enabled 24/7

decreasing coin rollout is explained in whitepaper
