does anyone has an idea, what to do. My wallet is not synching anymore. I had a power or better said no internet connection for couple of hours. Now it does not synch anymore. Any tips welcomed as the telegram group of DMD seems to be disapeared.

Agreed. We definitely want DMD to have a presence on the top decentralized exchanges. As you say, there are people who either prefer or feel forced to use them, and we wouldn't want to deprive them of a good DMD market. I will use them when I have to. Recently I wanted to buy a position in SMART Cash, and Crypto-Bridge was the only viable option, so I went with it. It was a royal pain, but I got the coins I wanted. And the team that develops a *user-friendly* DEX will be sitting pretty. So, go for it!
Decentralized exchange is good idea. We can deny the fact that currently most users are more familiar with centralised exchanges, but over time everything might change. We have witnessed the same changes from blockchain technologies. Nine years ago, no one can imagine or forecast about some day blockchain technology can change the world entirely as we have seen by now.Nevertheless, decentralized exchanges should be more user-friendly, much more better than Crypto Bridge.

Yeah, we need better user-friendly DEX. Crypto Bridge is not good enough for their users, but at the moment, this one is the only choice for several coins. Diamond project can make a change in the branch of crypto exchanges. Let's decentralise crypto exchange and make it better than Crypto Bridge.

I've used Crypto-Bridge recently, and that's part of the general BitShares based decentralized trading network. It is clunky and difficult to use. So yeah, not ready for the prime time. It's definitely good for DMD to be on these decentralized exchanges now. Just know that they are currently a turnoff to many people who just want to be able to conduct their cryptobusiness in a simple and streamlined fashion.
I have tried using Crypto Bridge too. As my own experience, this exchange is hard to use (as you said), and transaction fees are too higher (much more higher than other exchanges). Nevertheless, decentralized exchanges might be new hot trend this year or several coming years. Decentralizing is key point in crypto ecosystem, hence exchanges should and will not be exceptions.It might be better if Diamond project will have its own decentralised exchange.
i see DEX (decentral exchanges) to fill the niche for people who for some reason dont want or cant go through an verify user process
which will become more and more required on classic exchanges
and such users will even accept the a bit more difficult way to operate such DEX
and DEX can be used as a free escrow service for outside of exchange trades
so be listed at at least one such DEX platform have added value

Nowadays, centralised exchanges are a norm, they are fast and some of them attract significant number of traders, however, there are many disadvantages to this model. They are not permissionless, they are prone to failure i.e. hacking and ever tighter legislation can in some cases create unnecessary barriers. Centralised exchanges are going to play an important role for foreseeable future and be main on and off ramps to FIAT. However, blockchain community as a whole is eventually going to move to a decentralised model of exchanging value. DMD Diamond will continue to develop technology, promote and work with projects that can offer such possibilities. Even though, this type of technology has still some way to go before it is ready for prime time, when it arrives it will change the crypto landscape in a significant way. DMD is currently working on integration with https://crypto-bridge.org/ and we hope to be featured there in the near future.
I don't agree too much with the statement i put in bold, have you watched bitshare/openledger decentralized exchange ? I'm using it by some months and i don't think that is a non mature product....

It is really hard time for all altcoins in the market due to downtrend and terrible impacts of bitcoin and recent bad news. However, I think and believe that all things will be fine, and the whole market will take off again at some point around May or June of the year.there is only 2 possible results

As a long term holder this is nothing new to see the team do these updates and share with the community where their plans for the coin are headed. To highlight some features of the teams last meeting.

The diamond team isnt a passive one, they are always on top of what is going on in the crypto industry. After years of holding I have never been disappointed with the core devs decisions and work.
As for the price people shouldn't be worried, the whole market has been down and DMD is just following that trend. These levels were tested before only to break to the upside, not saying it will but the point is that DMD is still a good long term investment.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough but I was speaking more broadly about possibilities of exchanging value, bitshares/openledger is not the only one that will provide such function, namely Lightning, Internet of Coins, atomic swaps, etc .. there are many approaches to this .. they need time to mature. I wouldn't say that all we have right now is the end product (and the only way of achieving this) that is easy and ready to use by any project.
I would give it about a year before we see multiple ways of exchanging coins that is end user ready (more than alpha versions).
