Farewell o_e_l_e_o
Some big holders pump and dump to check how stable it is. Looks like some "whales" trying to establish some DMD MasterNodes. They pump it up to rattle short-term DMD investors then buy up DMD as the price finds it equilibrium. DMD MastersNodes will be worth well over a Million dollars a pop.
It is likely normal tests of whales before they decide to do next steps. Their ultimate objective always is taking as much profits from their manipulations as possible. Those ones are important Test Pump, and Shake Out steps in the price manipulated procedure as Wolong said.

There is link to well-known manipulators Wolong (Wolong: The Game of Deception)

Something interesting is coming, and another plus point is Diamond is basically a good project

Just out of curiosity, how are you able to tell what people are doing with the DMD that they earned through cloudmining?

the population of the cloud did also change a lot
where in the begin it was new people joining DMD
where we helped them get hands on their first coins until they can stake them on their own
which was a supportive role of the cloud and why reactor supported the project
now in the last 3/4 year most new people abused the cloud instant selling DMD
basically that means we give our reactor coin POS income for free so other people can instant sell them
that too was a reason to stop the cloud not only we spend many many unpaid hours for this non profit project
we additional support it with reactor POS income just to see more and more people started to abuse the project

I too was kind of sad to see the cloudmining operation shut down, and I must have made my ROI because I stopped getting payments. But if a lot of participants were simply instant selling their earnings, then it was a good idea to shut it down, because it was set up for price support among other things.

Just out of curiosity, how are you able to tell what people are doing with the DMD that they earned through cloudmining?

Yeah, I've also come to know over the past week that the cloud operation had ended.  I always knew it would inevitably come to an end, because as mentioned it wasn't something that was sustainable.  It was fun while it lasted though, and personally I can say I had a great experience with DMD cloudmining myself.  I will continue to stake regularly  Smiley.

It's hard to find answers through 700+ pages. When were these funds given back if you don't mind me asking?

I see from the previous announcements back in 2015 on the Reactor that it was paying out 4x what normal addresses can achieve. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10293080 and https://bit.diamonds/community/index.php?topic=90.0 both show that.

1. Are slots still available?
2. Is the reactor still set at 4x normal staking rate?
I want to say this changed back to normal when you introduced DMD 3.0 with Masternodes and those special addresses that were auctioned off at one point. Are those addresses still working at higher stake rates? What are the addresses for these if you don't mind. Chainz blockchain only shows the Reactor as being labeled. I think it's only fair that these special addresses be readily available. Any help finding them would be great.

u will find in that 700 pages that the proposal that the reactor should have increased stakerate was declined by community
and that the reactor was just a normal POS wallet without any bonus

and u will find like 2 years after the start of reactor that any contribution towards the reactor was given back beside contribution of some foundation members who did keep supporting cloud by let their private coins stake for other people

yes there where 2 types of addresses in old DMDv2 client that did stake at higher stake rate
the so called legendary10 addresses that where auctioned in the first and only support DMD development event
and some 360 days time limited max capacity 1000 DMD private reactor addresses that where used for promotion events

both kind of addresses dont have any kind of stake bonus in DMDv3 (no address have any kind of stake bonus in v3)
what happend to the legendary 10 addresses is described in whitepaper

all in DMDv2 boosted addresses are visible in DMDv2 sourcecode
DMD is a open source project there is no not visible not transparent codepart

DMD have plenty of history
if u interested to get a easy readable version of it i suggest u order the book

yes there is a book written about DMD Diamond history

Cryptonit,

Since the Reactor for the DMD payouts was funded by us and currently sits at 88,311.89465848, what will you be planning to do with this DMD?

Please be as transparent and as detailed as possible. Everyone single DMD needs to be accounted for.

Lastly, is the reason for shutting down the reactor simply because it is too much for you to handle? Would you be willing to transfer the reigns to someone more capable of handling such a "large' operation? I believe this could be automated 100% and leave you out of it completely to maintain a constant flow of income for investors. Seeing something that was supposed to be in perpetuity come to a close is a failure I don't want to see happen.

what u mean by the reactor is funded by us? if u mean me and friends then u are right if u mean by the cloud u are wrong
the opposite is true the reactor did and still do voluntary pay bonus DMD towards cloud once a month
but the reactor is not fundet by the cloud
50% owned by me and around 50% of its coins where borrowed by other dedicated members of the foundation
yes other people from community did also borrow coins to the reactor but all got them back already after the second year

until soft shutdown is finished reactor will keep supporting payouts
then we decide about its future together with the reactor coin owners
if they want to break it appart and give coins back to owners or if they want to support a maybe in future created project

i find it interesting how we over years got no thank you
for give away the reactor stake income from our own coins for free to support the cloud
but now voices arise like if the reactor is owned by the cloud and u have some right to get the reactor coins

the population of the cloud did also change a lot

If my observings are correct, the top 1000 wallets own less than 50% of all DMD in circulation since a short period oft time.
In my opinion this is a good sign, wealth distribution is working.

It is a good sign, also remember that a big portion of DMD is stored in masternodes where the owners are far less likely to dump their coins on the market, I have been holding DMD since their integration of new code base and masternodes and I can vouch that this really helped maintain the price.

newest wallet release
its NOT mandatory to upgrade to 3016
everything 3013 and upwards is fine regarding combatibility

but the latest 3016 wallet is most advanced regarding wallet stability
and handling of power outages without chain corruption
Thanks for your nice update and your time which you have spent for Diamond project after its launch many months ago.

some info about stuff thats actually ongoing:

a new DMD video is in work i did see first version already it looks really great

additional we are working to finish a brand guide in a proffesional style
as a start of streamline our appearance on any place
regarding logo no big changes

(just a dirty imgur picture of a draft)

but regarding all around that it fit together in style and colous and font and so on its a big step ahead

just a few infos so u know we constant working even if u dont see lot activity

we also recently released the 3016 wallet with stability improvements

in 3 weeks we will have the dmd diamond foundation meeting for 4 days in austria
review last 6 months and create a detailed plan for next 6 months
where software developer think in sprints (1 2 or 4 week sprints)
from management view u think in longer timeframes in our case 6 months

over all we can say not visible to community easy
in the background lot things in dmd foundation and how we work
is now in a style of a corporation and the structures are ready to scale upwards with future success

still DMD is not owned by DMD Diamond Foundation
DMD is owned by people who own coins
and DMD is a open source project everyone can help to improve it
DMD Diamond Foundation is just a place for people who help to improve DMD and help to make the rest of world learn about DMD
support in developemt and marketing for people who love DMD
thats the focus of DMD Diamond Foundation

i want to remember u if u have any 3rd party ideas and projects where u want to show us a pitch
there is a possibility that we provide u a funding if we see any positive impact of ur project on DMD ecosystem

email such ideas to [email protected]

Still not sure how people missed this when signing up.  All information was readily available.

People who signed up late are still going to make ROI, so whats the big deal?

It was a great service, served its purpose, now its time to move on.

I liked the program and description of cloud mining. It’s also nice to see cross-platform wallets for currencies. In general, everything is straightforward and clearly explained. Good luck with your endeavours guys! Smiley
