Dogeparty Hangout #10 - MAKING GAME TOKENS AND ITEMS USING DOGEPARTY

https://plus.google.com/events/cjl871sld8ujslsce68bqi6r4sc

This hangout will orient itself around the concept of creating new tokens for use in games. The definition of "tokens" may be in-game currencies, in-game items, and so on. We will lead Hangout participants through various scenarios in which they may want to do this, highlighting the interesting possibilities inherent to cryptographically securing such things, and making them fungible. Some minor technical examples will follow, basically utilizing the CP/DP API and showing how quickly a developer can get up and running with it.

Saturday, December 13 @ 5:30pm PST
Estimated non-Q&A time: 30-45 Minutes

Participants/Schedule:
✓ [5m] Wendell (Hive/Dogeparty/Vizor) — introduction to Dogeparty & Tokens

What kind of plans? XDP is holding steadily above burn price so I'm interested to know what targets you have. It should be noted that XDP has no direct relation to Doge's price though I do think it adds utility to Dogecoin and the community.

How about the exchange? Any news?

If you want to know the list of things you should be working on, simply open up Dogeparty and Counterparty and write down all the features Dogeparty is missing. There's plenty to be working on.

Will XDP be integrating Ethereum's smart contracts now counterparty has Ethereum's smart contracts integrated and running on its test net?

Of course. I'm sure they'll be implemented over the coming months. helloge's post was not too clear so that's why I asked for clarification. Was he saying Dogeparty needed to do publicity or court projects that are considering the other parties? And what do these mysterious plans have to do with Dogecoin?

Counterparty also supports Pay-to-PubKeyHash. Other methods of adding data to transactions are available as well. There is not an issue.

It's absolutely shocking that they are not fans.

It does not matter if OP_RETURN is shortened or removed completely. There is no issue.
Ok so it works the same way with multi sig? I am just thinking of the worst case if the core devs go totaly against dogeparty, what  could possibly happen.

Dogeparty has OP_RETURN disabled in code just like Counterparty does currently. It would be interesting to know what kind of miner support there is for OP_RETURN as that could potentially be enabled soon.

In terms of worst case, I guess the Dogecoin devs or miners could stop supporting multi-sig transactions but that would create a lot of collateral damage.

Ok thanks, personaly Im suprised since the BTC coredevs are not exactly fans of XCP.

Anyway about dogeparty, I forgot to ask in this interview
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6llFwl8GZM

But what would happen if the doge coredevs decided to shorten the OP_RETURN ?
