I have some questions about PoS... I've read about it and understand the general concept, but I think an example with real numbers would very useful.
So can someone describe what will happen for someone holding 100000 ECCoin? If I have 100k today, will it start paying PoS interest in 42 days or is it from the time PoW ends? Is there a minimum amount required?

Looking for a new coin to get into as an early adopter.. can anyone give me reason/s way I should choose this coin?
Have a look at the website which gives some concise information..there will be more promotion and information later....Then have a think about it for a few weeks..

It's hard to find the golden stone. If i would look, i would check first model PoW? or PoS? or what? Premine level? Transparency? Community behind it?Vision? Design quality, What the project is trying to bring new? How much volume happening in early days (not price but volume) how many miners already... are they increasing... how many exchanges listed, etc. But the key is here the inventor's mind what really exists. Is he trying to satisfy his mother, father, or business idea such as selling more hosting, like these unrelated things etc. Or he is happy & know what he is doing...

We run several communication with exchanges and updated webpage www.eccoin.cc and preparing marketing works meanwhile (some is in progress already) and giveaways deliveries continuing. We setting up our ecoiner.org/ecc forums for hosting growing community. So many people right now involved and producing for ECC different actions. We got stronger with new coming miners. This week we bring together materials for a ECC fire. Next week we will burn it. We want such a big fire that noone can put off :=)

glad to see hopefull people here. I dont blame ecc but the altcoinmarket for beeing completely broken.
the price rose 4 satoshis to 10 sat. then 3btc sold to 6 sat where it is at the moment.
status quo is that people try to buy at 6 and sell at 7.
now tell me this market isn't full of greedy fuckheads...
I really want to believe in this altcoin and ofcourse in sustainable headed coins like ecc but this people make me angry... fat sweaty dickheads...everywhere.
The free market works just fine, the only thing that's broken is perception.
I'll help organize a few exchange swarms to help adoption.

guys... crypto pool is 1,6GH/s, network is 2,8GH/s! That's > 57% of the hashrate!
nobody does understand that you must spread the hashrate a little bit?
as a serious investor, i would not invest in a coin with hashrate so badly spreaded...
you do what you want, but i guess miners are being interested in growing value?
spreaded hashrate -> trust -> more people -> coins much more distributed between much more people -> much more people interest -> much more value -> PoS not failing -> everybody's happy.
that's the logic.
we're only at the beggining, but PoW phase won't be long.

There will be plenty more sellers in the days ahead, because there is mined supply.. The price is dictated by the buyers as well, it is a two way discovery.
There are always potential buyers who are watching the progress of the technicals and community. They will respond to what they see.
I think 6sat is not an unreasonable price (not too cheap) for the coin at this stage. It is unproven as yet, 95% potential and 5% implementation.
