Hello, I got the 1.9v wallet and I got some coins for 10-9 hours.
How does the staking work?
I see it has 20% + annually reward, but how does it count and when will it be credited.
Also the wallet has a field staking and it shows 0
Does it show there how many I have staked, or what I have earned from staking?

Staking works based on a Proof or Stake consensus model, so you are paid to process transactions and secure the network based on your proportionate share in the value of the 1337 currency. In theory if you own 1% of a PoS currency you would process 1% of the transactions, other factors being equal, solid internet connection, you are running the wallet 24/7, etc.
The frequency of credits to your account depends on how many 1337 you own, if you own more than 3M shares then you should be paid daily stakes since your ownership allocation should earn about 600,000 1337 shares a year. There is some randomness to the payments with staking especially as network strength rises and falls. You may get 0 payments one day and two payments the next. If several days go by and you are not getting any stakes it could be your number of shares is too small and your relative network weight needs to be increased.
The blockchain network will select your wallet in a semi deterministic fashion to process a transaction. The staking number which you mentioned from the wallet will change to a non zero number and you should earn a stake shortly.

Everyone, it seems like Cryptopia wallet is back online but do not transfer or withdraw all your coins before verifying that it works with small amount first. I would recommend you to verify with 1 coin first and make sure you receive on the other end. I am still trying to confirm that everything is working fine. Stay tuned.
Thanks for the update on Cryptopia xenonflux as I have been waiting on them for a while now. I'll do what you say and just try a small withdrawal and see what happens. As I'm not at home yet, I'll try later and hopefully have time to post an update in here to let everyone know unless someone beats me to it lol.
Hi Vella, Cryptopia withdrawal seems to be working fine as i was able to verify their minimum withdrawal of 20k this morning but the deposit to Cryptopia wallet address is still not working.
Yeah I see the minimum to withdraw now is 20k so I gave it a try and it worked so I'm happy. Okay thanks for letting me know, I'm still yet to sell any of my 1337 coins so I've never used an exchange to deposit before lol. But thanks for letting us know about the deposits to cryptopia.

I think there was a discussion a few months back about rebranding and changing the name from 1337 to WOOT if I recall correctly. I thought this was a good idea and was on board, not sure why that
whole aspect ended up getting scrapped but it did. Maybe we should re visit this idea and look to rebrand 1337?

Hi, I know I'm missing something here and I apologize in advance. What is the total number of coins in circulation? Block explorer and CMC not matching up with the nearly 2 billion coins for sale on Cryptopia alone. Seems paradoxical.
