So I have to encrypt and keep my wallet open to get rewards.

But is there a minimum amount of coins I need for the rewards? on NEM/XEM is 10K

Any one got an answer ^^ ?

1. No.

2. No.

3. Yes ^^

You don't need to encrypt your wallet, but only open it. In fact you need to "unlock" your wallet before getting stakes, if it is encrypted.

There is no minimum amount, although in practice you'll only receive stakes a few times a year if you have a very small amount. Better to use POSWallet in that case.

Hey Gandalf (Love your nick),

Where do I store it the, is there any wallet? in which platform ESP based on? (Any thing similar to the ERC20 of Ether?)

Which PoS rewards?

There is a wallet, you can find it in the ANN and on the website. ESP is one in a row of different software forks of Bitcoin, which you can see in the copyright statement in your wallet:

I don't understand, I have my ESP on my wallet but I can't stake/mine. Can't click on the button. Someone know how to stake or/and mine ESP?
The in-wallet miner is not built yet, and staking will start automatically after you unlock your wallet (if you have encrypted it) and keep it open. It just takes awhile since there is alot on network weight. The minimum staking age is 2hrs meaning it starts staking 2hours after you have received them in your wallet.

I guess it's an online mining? as I have to keep my wallet open in order to stake.

So I have to encrypt and keep my wallet open to get rewards.

But is there a minimum amount of coins I need for the rewards? on NEM/XEM is 10K

Any one got an answer ^^ ?

I bought some Espers and transferred them to my wallet. It synced and the correct amount is showing. Now, how do I store it offline? I copied "Espers-qt.exe" on USB stick and tried it on another computer to see if it's working, and it's showing 0 Espers balance. Does it have to sync again?

where did you buy it?  Yobit has old ESP1 which now is worthless

kel-alt -
Oops, I just bought 2.2 million worthless ESP!!! $100 down the drain!
Should have come here when I noticed the 1 YoBit price vs 33 sat
CMC price. How does this happen without notice by YoBit? I guess I
missed it? I knew something was wrong, but not what.

I'm amazed at how people don't do proper research before buying into something,
If you read any page in the thread you would know not to buy from yobit

Need more miners over at http://esp2.8pool.dtdns.net
Its way better than minertopia!

thanks for support!

8pool is the official pool for espers since launch.
Over time I saw a high interest for multipools like zpool.ca and minertopia.
Do you want 8pool to become a multipool?
Given the great interest in this coin, they are sad to see that there are few miners  Cry and above all the poolhash power is low.  Cry
This leads to considerably increasing the time to find blocks already difficult with the system implemented by cryptocoderz but it works very well.
I accept tips on ... and if it's better to have a single or multicoin pool ...?

thx

ps: unlocked miners in pool.  please dont forget your password and PIN
8pool is definitely NOT the official pool. Official pool is minertopia.

what you write HuhHuh LOOK IN OP!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... mining pool 2

Once and for all time remember: YOBIT is GREAT SCAMING SITE so don't use it... Espers is not the only crypto they are scaming users with.

Yobit is not listed on the ann or coinmarketcap for a reason. They are on wrong chain, they refuse to delist it. They are fraudulent and shit exchange i'd recommend you to completely stay away from them.

You just thought instant 3300% increase? When it is too good to be true, it always is. If you looked at the OP there is a big warning do not buy from Yobit. Your bad! Next time do more due diligence before buying from an exchange.

Address: ETvGHWhqW566uwTjK6BxxRP8KdTTpYRLuM
But I did not receive my espers
Can you help me ?

That tx id dosen't exist on espers chain, this means is old ESP1 which now is worthless because was a swap to ESP2. Sorry for the bad news!

Can you help me
Which video cards to use for the best mining espers?

A guide to mine ESPERS with a CPU or GPU

CPU:
Download a miner from
http://cryptomining-blog.com/7805-new-c ... m-support/

Extract the files to a folder on your desktop, and locate the RUN-AMD or RUN-INTEL file, (CHOOSE WICH CPU YOU HAVE)
Right click the chosen file, and edit it
Change after: -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minertopia.org:3747 -u YOUR ESPERS WALLET ADDRESS -p c=ESP -t AMOUNT OF THREADS YOU WANT TO USE
If you want to utilize your whole CPU, remove the -t part.
Run the .bat file you chosen (based on wich brand CPU you have)
Enjoy, you are now mining!

GPU (NVIDIA)

Download a miner from
https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases
Extract the files to a folder on your desktop
Choose one .bat file, right click it and hit edit.
it should look like this

ccminer-x64 -a HMQ1725 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minertopia.org:3747 -u YOUR ESPERS WALLET ADDRESS -p c=ESP
pause

Save and exit, and run the .bat file
Enjoy, you are now mining with GPU

GPU (AMD)

Make the .bat like this:

set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0

set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100

set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

sgminer.exe --kernel hmq1725 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minertopia.org:3747 -u yourESPadresshere -p c=ESP

SGminer with HMQ1725 algo
http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/sgminer-hmq1725/

----------------------------------------

Once you have it up and running, start playing with your intensity to fine tune and extract more hash from your GPU. In general, any R9 series AMD can go up to I=17 without troubles. Beyond that, you will get a lot of heat, power draw and even computer instability. Most recent AMD you can mine HMQ1725 with would be an R9 390 based.

If you can find a watercooled 295x2 for a reasonable price, I encourage you to grab it. Two GPUs in the same card plus efficiencies at memory access level make those cards fantastic performers. Also twin watercooled 390s but those run expensive.
R9 Nanos are interesting and efficient powerwise but still expensive.
Also good old 280Xs are a good choice. Contained power draw, same hashing power than most 290s and best part of it: CHEAP!
No miner to mine with the newest cards yet I know of.

Nvidias... the more recent the better since last ccminer performs like a charm. 1080, 1080ti will hash like demons. Expensive though.

hi all ...

can anyone tell me the average hashrate for a 1080 and 1080ti is please? ...

#crysx

For 1080 ti, seems to be around 7227KH per card. I have still much testing to do with other software/config but I get those numbers.

I get close to 8MH with my cards, I have 3 1080ti's and I get a total of 24MH

still no way to mine with 400/500 models?
Sgminer.exe --no-submit-stale --algorithm hmq1725 -o stratum+tcp://esp2.8pool.dtdns.net:3333 -u herb -p 1234 -I 18
This correct rx 460 Huh Huh
Somebody tried to mine with rx 470/480? What is hashrate, profit?
RX Model AMD cards are currently not supported by the miner.  The developer of the hmq1725 sgminer (Pallas) did not have access to a card for testing so he did not build compatibility for those cards.  If someone wants to get the miner working for RX series cards they would need to speak to the sgminer dev about it.

Why ESP coins in yobit can not withdraw ??
Can you fix this, Huh!!! There is so much coin

Look like YoBit are full of shit...  Undecided

They probably never swapped.  I can't remember what the ratio was when it happened, 100 to one maybe?

This is correct.  They NEVER swapped.  DO NOT USE YOBIT for Espers!!!!!! (Obligatory warning for this page of the forum)
And when the swap occurred the ratio was  10:1, so not too far off.
Did anybody try the bootstrap for the wallet?

I did, but when I extracted it, one file is missing: txleveldb\015056.ldb
Code:
CRC failed in espers_windows_bootstrap_676839\ESP\txleveldb\015056.ldb. The file is corrupt
Now the client won't even open.
Nobody here seems to bother to even give a copy of that file. Sad

If you delete everything except wallet.dat from the ESP folder, it should open again and try to sync without the bootstrap.  In terms of the bootstrap, I don't know why that file is corrupt for you as it seems to work for many other people.  If no one will give you a link to the single file, I would suggest redownloading the bootstrap and see if it maybe got corrupt when unzipping.
