I'm swapping some coins but there aren't enough Esp2 on nova for swapping! Thanks for the time in bothering with this issue!

I see help, but there is no enable expert features

I see send, but there is no INPUTS.

I am on 5.7.0

Enable the coin control features first:

whats the word on that wallet miner?

There was a post done one page back stating we will be working on it today as the weekend was spent working a lot with the business partner to strengthen future and current use of Espers.
Also as stated last page, we do come up on delays and the public sees it more frequently than we'd like but this is merely do to the sheer amount of work going on behind the scenes. We are building the foundation to off the community something incredible. Heck we're already partnered with a business that accepts ESP.

Now back to the mining. Smiley

ah right on man. looking forward to it. good job with the partnership BTW. future is looking prettty sweet with this one me thinks

there will be a quick outage on the pool. we apologize for the inconvenience it will be right back.

Waiting for work to be available from pools.

Thanks for the warning Wink

No worries, sorry it was pretty abrupt we had an unscheduled router firmware update take place.

I went to settings, options, network and saw connect through Sockss proxy ....what does this do? Does this change so I can mine? (sockss proxy is a check box option).
You can also just say hold on til more instruction as I am aware you are working on mining.

you'll want to go to the "Display" as highlighted in the previous post then toggle the advances view.

Then when you go to send coins you'll see new options. We are busy you're right but we make an effort to assist our users and community no matter what.

So if I am mining why isn't the entire amount "staking"? Is it only reflecting what I have "mined"?

Staking relies on coin age and input size. (go to help and choose enable expert features).

Once expert features have been enabled go to Send and then click INPUTS. in this screen you will see all your received coins along with the amount of confirmations per input. The larger the block size (coin amount) and the higher confirms will stake before smaller blocks and blocks that have less confirms.

Small inputs can be selected then re-combined for larger block input via the inputs then reseeding to yourself.

Sorry started to write this but OMFG there is too many things that go along with staking, like net weight etc. Better off looking for a staking guide :p (anyway blocks are staked according to size & confirmations in a short low tech answer)

Can you explain Spendable, Stake, and Total? I'm sort of confused by the stake vs what I show in wallet.
Total: You have that amount of coins
Stake: Some of these are staking, so they are not spendable (after some time will be Spendable)
Spendable: They are not stacking so you can use it any way you want

After I wrote that, I saw the instructions on opening a Port. Good Job! Maybe you don't need Stoner19!

@stoner19 writes THE BEST Instructions, leaving nothing to imagination and no assumpions. No. He gives complete instructions, commands, and does it like an ART to a T.
Read Audiocoin instructions for Stake Mining.
Aurovine Store / Audiocoin. He can be found in Slack at Audiocoin if anybody wants to offer this guy a bounty for perfect instructions.

Windows/Linux/Mac --> Open port 22448 in your firewall (Incoming and outgoing)
That should get you connecting to clients Smiley I personally typically have 16-19 connections at any given time.

For those thumping there heads saying how do i open up port 22448.. Lets get some router ports open.

windows people hit windows key + R and type cmd and hit enter.
a dos box will open.
Type ipconfig and look for IPv4 Address & Default Gateway

Open a web browser and enter the Default gateway address (if your using a router this will put you at your routers login page. LOG IN, usual default router passwords are (drop Cap for second attempt. if you dont know your routers login & password check google for default or reset your router :p )

User: Admin
Password Admin
or
User: Admin
Password: password

Ok your in your router? Awesome, lets keep going.

Now that your on your routers web portal lets get looking for the PORT FORWARDING option, this is usually under FIREWALL or Advanced. You find it? Fucking awesome lets finish this.

Select Port Forwarding (if it is disabled Enable it)
Select ADD port or ADD Service (could be just ADD on your router no idea, but if it says add + etc choose it :p )

You will see a few options,

In Service type choose both (tcp + udp)

in Server IPv4 Address: enter the IPv4 Address you wrote down from ipconfig (we are telling the router to point to YOUR computer when the port is activated)

Starting port 22448
Ending port 22448

Hit save and WALLA your router is now passing 22448 traffic to your pc.

The Concierge of Crypto
I used to get 20-30 connections. I think the highest I saw was 40-50 connections. Didn't do any of that port or upnp thing (I think it's disabled in the router too.)

so how do i connect to peers and what advantages are there? any instructions?

Instructions would be a nice thing wouldn't it? We'll get some documentation done up on that for you today but for now:

Windows/Linux/Mac --> Open port 22448 in your firewall (Incoming and outgoing)
That should get you connecting to clients Smiley I personally typically have 16-19 connections at any given time.

advantages really are more connections which means a more secure operation typically of the client as in theory the more connections the stronger the network is.
You could even take it one step further later and become a node which hosts a main connection point for the chain.

We've finally updated our partner's site a fair bit and that will go live in a couple hours. The mining page is back in the crosshairs for today and will be the main subject of focus for the day.
