We are currently working on the connection issues and site issues. We expect to have it resolved soon.
In the meantime just be aware that the Launcher for windows will report that the server is down for news and updates, please do not be alarmed there is nothing major occurring.

Yea, my mac client has not connected since yesterday.  Not sure what's going on.  Tried restarting my laptop, and the wallet, but no go.  So it's not just you.

Still no connexion, do I need to put something else in ESP.conf?

Its ESP.conf.

You have to change the syntax of the node list below.
It has to be like the list that pallas posted:

addnode *IP*
addnode *IP2*
...

Alternatively, you can open the console in the Espers Client and add the nodes manually with the following command:
addnode *IP* add

Quick question, espers.conf or Espers.conf ??

EDIT: tried both, but still no active connexion

Added all nodes but the client still can't connect.  

Edit: Nevermind, its working now.
The update function is still not working (Connection timed out).

No. this is not a firewall problem. i run my wallet in amazon cloud and is stopping 8 hours ago...

Network connection is fine here. Not being able to check for updates maybe indicates a firewall issue.

Is this windows? If so windows firewall may be blocking the Espers-qt.exe application. For a possible quick fix exit Espers and try moving Espers-qt.exe to another folder, launch Espers-qt.exe and give windows firewall permission for private and public networks (windows may be treating yours as public blocking Espers now)

That's great. Maybe next step should be bounty for any chinese exchanges to put ESP into their exchange...
