The supply for ESP2 matches the mined supply of ESP1. Those who do not swap will have their coins automatically "donated" to the promotion of ESP through social media promotions, partnerships and other ventures to further the project.

Somehow I had in the back of my mind that those coins would be burned? Essentially you are making, what used to be owned by other people, yours again. I'm not quite sure if this is 100% politically correct?  Grin

I am not saying that you don't deserve these coins, but think about this case: Let's say you would have had a pre-mine of 1% in ESP 1 to use it for promotions etc., and 19% would have been mined in total using lots of computing power. So next you would pre-mine 20% for the swap, but only 10% would actually be swapped. And now you want to claim the remaining 10% as yours? This is essentially a huge additional pre-mine, I'm not sure if that is what you truly want. Which amount would we be talking about right now btw.?

You'll have to ask both them and Novaexchange, how much ESP1 was actually swapped, and how much ESP2 was left over. These "leftovers" can be spent on promotions, bounties, signature campaigns, contest on best ideas, best pictures, best logos... It can be used to fund external block explorers. Promotion promotion promotion.

You could ask someone else other than the team to hold these funds too, if they are all meant for promotions, or they can hold it all in one address that everyone can see. Currently, they are holding it all anyways. The idea is to give it all away.
The amount of coins swapped so far is here https://novaexchange.com/coinswap/

There are people like me, who was never part of any free give aways, but is buying this coin from the market.
Keeping all the unswapped coins for further promotion/free distribution is like a slap in the face of investors.
I understand that the devs are not worried about the price of the coin, but people who buy this coin from the market are.
I want to see the value of my coin grow over time, not getting diluted with further inflation.

Lets see how much coins are there unswapped at the end of the swap deadline.

What is the current supply of ESP?
So far 111bln has been swapped.

Did you consider burning the unswapped coin?

this is a good suggestion, i remember it was suggested long time ago to reduce the supply in some way, it would have helped a lot versur the price increase, that whole supply is too much for this coin, i understand that this coin is not about the price, but it would at least rise the interest about this it, from new visitors

is mining thru wallet any closer to get finished

Yes it is. We thank you for waiting so patiently.

what is the average price of 1 ESP? (BTC value, screw LTC)
1 satoshi - 3,36 ESP
1 usd - 500k ESP
this is the current price but for sure after the swap and the development has been introduce and finish price will skyrocket just patiently holding my esp2 now and wait for more updates from the dev. good luck

Ofcourse the price right now is completely irrelevant, the major systems have not yet been implemented or released. Once the in-wallet mining releases this week and we push onward to the mailing system things will look "up"

Besides that we have a vendor lolz

ok i see the swap ends Nov 10th.
Anybody bold enough to make any predictions on direction of ESP2?
What if there are some (as to be expected) that hold ESP and fail to act and swap? Are they shit out of luck in that they cannot swap it later?
Will this determine actual supply at that time?

Curious.

If users fail to swap by the 10th they will not be able to transfer their ESP into ESP2. We cannot stress this enough DO NOT MISS THE DEADLINE!

The supply for ESP2 matches the mined supply of ESP1. Those who do not swap will have their coins automatically "donated" to the promotion of ESP through social media promotions, partnerships and other ventures to further the project.

There was/is a two month swap. There should be no excuse for missing this window.

Excellent question, thank you.

Okay @devs I am ready for some news  Grin

Okay, here we go:

1. CryptoCoderz.com overhauled in prep for new Espers client launch
2. CryptoCoderz and Catlin Computer Solutions are together assisting the city of Ridgecrest in a bike/skate competition that should have a decent amount of people for So-Cal coming down to the area and hopefully it will be live streamed. To check it out go to RidgecrestLiveEvents.com
3. Mining page is continuing development and we hope to have it released soon. Once again thank you all for patiently waiting we are close to release.
its really getting near and i'm windering if esp2 can make it like doge and sia hopefully we can make it much bigger in terms of value, good luck working dev keep it up.

You are doing your part, now it's time for community to push the value of ESP to the moon. We all should start with twitter, FB, bitcointalk merchandising that after 11.11 ESP will rock crypto world

Everything depends on the merged actions of devs and holders of the major part of ESP. I think some weak hands that held the amount of first giveaway has already gone forgetting about this project (I want to see how many ESP 1 will be on yobit at 10 nov). Who holds a huge amount of ESP could be in contact one another in order to support the devs improvements and spread the word. I have already a project in my mind that can use ESP as one of payment methods! In my opinion (veeeery personal) if everyone do well his job (I'm always positive) ESP can reach from 15 to 30 sat. I'm talking in a long term mindset.

I believe I already determined I won't be affective at mining GPU, so only CPU. So I guess I do what I can do. Thx

Any further instruction on mining ESP? I checked some of the boxes the other day but have no idea what it did and nor do I think it did anything. I still hit start mining and go. Rewards come in about the same, but I do not think I am mining in any pool.
I am also interested in node, but for me instructions have to be clear as day.

i think if you hit that button in the wallet you are mining in solo, like it was for bitcoin, but here you can do this with gpu too and not only cpu, but maybe there is a windows that let you choose the pool, password and username, i don't have the wallet to mine, because i'm still waiting for the nvidia miner

There is practically no btc market for it.

Whatever ESP was ever sold, it was at 1 sat. Actually, maybe 2 sat for some very small trades on small exchanges, if you are lucky and fast in depositing.

But there is no regular trading, just huge amounts sitting on offer at 1 sat. The only real market currently is ltc and it usually goes from 40 to 70 lat, with a few exceptions on either ends.

Unfortunately the 10:1 decrease in supply only changed price accordingly (from 4-7 lat) without any added value.

I still hope that will change, after the functionality updates take place (which seem to be taking forever).
