Heres a bit of info for you guys and gals Smiley.  https://archive.litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=26930.msg280015#msg280015

then there is this.   Grin  https://asicminermarket.com/

Dagger hashimoto asics are in the wild.  Since this algo wont disappear with pos on eth then we will soon see these asics once the manufacturers have the next step in efficiency and they can always be one step ahead of us.  See how this all works ...  rinse repeat.  Makes me wonder if the manufacturers of this equip arent the ones behind all this crypto stuff lol.. Sure could make a person rich if they always had the next step ahead of the public.

"ASICs and FPGAs is be strongly discouraged by being rendered financially inefficient, which was confirmed in an independent audit. Don't expect to see them on the market, and if you do, proceed with extreme caution.
"
sounds like a challenge..."

Remember folks audits dont catch everything Wink

Yelp, ETC may just be marketing ploy for selling a whole bunch of ASIC mining hardware.

Which, will be owned by a couple hundred people, who then hope to dupe GPU owners into making them rich, whilst their ASICs pump cheapo clone-coins out for next few years!

Crickets.....may as well get used to it, these geniuses have bigger problems now than rolling back bail outs lol!

What problems:

The next 2 Forks are on the schedule for the Ethereum Foundation:

1) Metropolis

and

2) Serenity

Therefore, whilst you lot moan and groan on this ANN about history, everyone else is continuing with Network development.

That is planned fork and is essential for the development of the Ethereum. I have no problem with that. Maybe the ETC will not fork.

Ethereum Foundation should make those Scheduled Forks difficult for Clone-Crap-Coins to implement Grin

The ETC is independent now. So it shall not copy and past the codes from Ethereum. It might employ its own developers.

ETHC has always been independent and can do whatever is reasonable including copy and paste code from the cloned ETHF. The only thing ETHC will never do is bail out forks.

As already said now the bail out ETHF is a test net for ETHC.

That means there is no need for the active developer/development for just the ETC. It can do copy and past.

How many times shall I explain what does it mean for users and developers?

The essential problem is that unless you own DAO tokens, you have no reason to choose Ethereum over Ethereum Classic. They are basically the same thing with different recorded versions of history. The entire thing is open source, so if the Ethereum developers come out with new features, Ethereum classic will adopt them almost immediately (unless they’re similarly controversial). Any Ethereum developer with DAO tokens now works against himself.

"how many times do we have to tell you, NO ITS NOT!"

Odd then that Developer Alex Van de Sande, lead designer for the Ethereum Foundation was the first to announce the draining of the DAO by the whitehats:

https://twitter.com/avsa/status/745313647514226688

http://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-developers-draining-dao/

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/ethereum-devs-hack-the-hacker-price-skyrockets

and he used we
as i recall i didnt see any dementi from the ethereum foundation that "we" means devs from the foundation.

So ALEX VAN DE SANDE tell the names you worked with at the hack.

It on the youtube channels:

The "White Hats" are down to 4 million ETC, but don't take my word for it, watch the episode yourselves:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWIOI_qWpw8

Thanks for video.
Interesting stuff and a ton of good points.

Pretty interesting stuff: the "Black Hats" aren't giving up on taking all the ETC in the pre-fork "The DAO"; its sounds as if the "White Hats" are slowly losing the fight on the old pre-fork blockchain.

And, there is still 18 days left, until the "Black Hats" get too collect their stolen ETC.

lol, basead on what?

Stolen eth you mean, it's OK etc will take the hit and preserve the blockchain though...since ya'll got no balls or faith in your coins market apparently. Watch and learn noobs, not only is hardfork bailout a good way to destroy your coin it also isn't necessary. Unless the people that created the coin stand to lose I guess, seems to be the philosophy in these parts. I guess maybe listen next time someone tells you there's a flaw in your code? Seems like the real issue with eth actually, won't listen to people even if they're trying to help you out and they don't have to but try anyway. The age of the people behind this project is a major hindrance and now very transparent. Open mindedness and considering others wisdom will take you further than arrogance and naivity. Ask Homero Garza, he knows where that road leads.

Also, as update on the "White Hats" trying to stop SUPER-HACK on the pre-fork blockchain.

They've pretty much failed: there Counter-Hack initially saved 7 million ETC, but the SUPER-HACKER responded and re-hacked there Counter-Hack.

Consequently, on August 31 2016, 6-7 million ETC will become available to the SUPER-HACKER.

Isn't everyone glad: the Ethereum Foundation did the Hard Fork now!

You seem to be forked up on some serious chemicals. Stay safe, don't overdose.
