Syncing problems?

Sync from zero, add these addnodes to your conf file:

So i would advice people to stay on the original chain, like most others.

are you one off the developers?

No he isn't. He shouldn't be telling ppl what chain to use because he doesn't know.

We need to wait for the developer. However, he has not responded to the forking issue since Saturday.

Maybe the coin is abandoned? No one knows!

These are all on the correct chain: http://explorer.ethereumfuture.net

I tried the BSOD chain but that chain is giving me problems, syncing my wallet
will take very long or it won't sync at all.
Next tot that, about 80+ percent of all peers are on the original chain and that
chain works perfect, syncing is very fast.

So i would advice people to stay on the original chain, like most others.

I am on bsod pool since it was the one with most miners, the pool is still working but the wallet won't sync beyond 53575 block.

I read that the dev are saying that this is the wrong chain but is the one with most blocks.

So what's going on? Also why noone mention this to the pool ?

I can sync now at block 55434, so can the developers update the situation?

which chain is the right one? I am on the bsod pool and many others are mining there.

from pool a bsod doesn't come coins on the wallet
Network is split in 2 chains, if your wallet is on the fork, you won't see the coins on your wallet. Read above.

Dear community!
We found a splitting of the blockchain. At the moment the BSOD.pw pool is running on an alternative chain.
We recommend temporarily transferring your hashrate to the official pool http://pool.ethereumfuture.net/
At the moment, we are working to improve the situation. Updated wallets will be available soon

This makes no sense. bsod is the longest chain and the chain with most work. you can't just decide which chain is correct based on a whim. There are rules in place for cases like this. if you happen to chose your pool's chain as the official one, which had 0 miners for a week over bsod that had most of the network you will not like the results

https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/29742/strongest-vs-longest-chain-and-orphaned-blocks

The LONGEST chain is the CORRECT chain, there is no other way around it, you can make how many excuses you like. If your network is unstable and your nodes are weak, it's not pool fault. If you don't know how to fix the problem (which happens not for the first time already) all you had to do is ask. You can't just rollback and choose the chain when you see fit

ETHF developer apparently wants to rollback the chain to the "official" pool which had 0-2 miners last week and is behind ~500 blocks from the longest chain which BSOD is on. This is against every rule in the blockchain crypto book as far as we see it. The chain we're on has had 90% of the hash (not only from BSOD pool) before the fork. If you have something to say about that, please do so on the ETHF Discord: https://discord.gg/VemhhcG

The liquidity of the coin is very small, only two small exchanges. Miners sell coins more than there are buyers. The price falls. The team does not fulfill obligations on the road map. New exchanges are needed to increase the liquidity of the coin. Then the price will keep at a level and even grow. While there is no progress on the road map. Just because wallets work and there are working sites are no longer interesting. It is necessary to develop and increase the liquidity of the coin. The lottery is not development! We need new markets and positive news!

Masternodes pay out consistently every day. If the price goes up at some point this will be a good one to be holding on to.
