As you may have heard, BitDegree signed an agreement with blockchain-based cryptocurrency platform, Ethos, in the crypto world also known as Bitquence. How is this weird or confusing?  They made a commemorative physical "Thank You" token for the top 100 ICO investors.  They were made before the rebranding, and reflect the commitment to the beginning of the project, which was Bitquence.  Rebrands happen all the time and are generally extremely successful.  Look at Antshares to Neo.  BQX to Ethos is no exception... the price was @ $1.39 the day of the rebrand a month ago and has since hit an ATH of over $3.  The devs stated the rebranding better fit with the ideals of the project going forward... ie... the new Ethos is to "make crypto easily accessible to all".  The Universal Wallet and fiat gateway will be a real competitor (and upgrade) to Coinbase, making it "1 click" easy for Grandpa Joe to diversify an Alt-coin portfolio right from his phone.  With the Universal Wallet set to release in February, this coin should explode.

Regarding the devs addressing concerns... come to the Ethos Telegram.  I'm a member of over 30 coin Telegrams, and I can honestly say... the Ethos Telegram is one of the best I've ever seen.  The devs, Shingo & Stephen Corliss are extremely active and transparent in answering every question and concern.  It inspires a lot of confidence with the depth of their knowledge and insightful answers.

In case it isn’t clear yet, Ethos is about much more than building a next generation Universal Wallet for cryptocurrencies. While our wallet technology is the centrepiece of our platform — combined with Fiat Gateway, it actually serves as the heart for something much greater. Today we’re excited to make several important announcements to help framework our unique approach, as part of our continuous effort to deliver on our mission to democratize wealth and make the cryptocurrency and traditional markets safe and accessible for all.

Ethos believes that the best way to achieve our mission is to deliver a unified and global multi-asset wealth solution, that seamlessly connects consumers with investment advisors, wealth managers, broker dealers, custodians, digital asset exchanges, merchants and developers via the Ethos Platform.

As part of this effort, Ethos felt it was essential to form an Investment Committee, whose primary objective would be to oversee the creation of a frictionless Global Investment and Wealth Management Ecosystem. The committee’s mandate is a multifaceted program focused on locating the best partners for the Ethos Platform, including all essential aspects of the investment process.

We’re excited to continue to progress these efforts forward on all fronts as we move closer to delivering a powerful new financial ecosystem.

What is the Ethos Investment Committee?
The Investment Committee (IC) is an essential element of Ethos’ overall vision, as it will provide ongoing governance over every aspect of the Ethos Platform to ensure we maximize benefits to the entire Ethos Community. The IC will initially focus its attention on securing strategic partnerships covering specialist financial service partners including, Investment Management & Investment Advisory, Custody and Clearing, Merchant Services, KYC, Liquidity, and AI & Investment Data Vendors. Although much of this work has been ongoing for months now, we felt it was important to add a proper governance structure over all of these efforts to ensure full optimization of all the products and services to be offered on the Ethos Platform.

Why is this important to the Ethos Platform?
As a financial ecosystem, Ethos must build an infrastructure that supports the critical aspects of a capital market system. Rather than build this structure with a top-down approach, we have chosen a bottom-up approach that begins at the foundation, with you, the retail consumer. From an investment perspective, the next layer in the stack involves the portfolio construction and management layer, which are processes performed by Investment Managers or Investment Advisors.

What is an Investment Manager?
An investment manager is a person or organization that makes investments in portfolios of securities on behalf of clients, in accordance with the investment objectives and parameters defined by these clients.

What is an Investment Advisor?
An investment advisor is defined by the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as any person or group that makes investment recommendations or conducts securities analysis in return for a fee, whether through direct management of client assets or via written publications.

What the hell?? After rebranding they ship out the memorabilia related to the old name?!?!?
Something is really wrong here! I really love this project, but this rebrand... Not a very wise idea!

BTW... How can I get one of those physical tokens?

I really wanted to support this project, but I agree they have done weird things.  Why confuse things with this weird physical coin?  Why is their name Ethos when one of the top Ethereum mining software is already called EthOS?  Why is the price on binance being manipulated by bots?  These are some very basic things I wish the devs would address.

That is just weird! They have abandoned the name BQX for Ethos. And now they proudly ship...BQX physical token.

Until now there has been no official information about BQX changes to ETHOS, I still see the balance in BQX in Myetherwallet and do not know what to do.

Yes, the coin has really decently grown in value. If you count from the price of the ICO, then in general, super growth. I wonder what opinions on the price of the coin in 2018 ?.

Yes, as I understand, if you wanted to send BQX to some exchange, then you could use Ethos deposit address for it. I think there is no any difference between BQX address and ETHOS address.

I haven't understood this rebranding yet...so to send Bitquence from our ether wallets to exchanges now we have to get Ethos deposit address, right?

whats your beef with Ethos? are you trying to save all of us from a horrible financial mistake, or you just a troll who missed the boat? They have an active dev team with constant updates, bring your FUD some where else homie.

I really don't know why they have not effect the change on this thread, someone has raised this issue before maybe the team is not active on these forum again as during their ICO, this is one of the best ICO this year

, people thinking someone will use this  platform with no base in the west...there's not even a working platform right now zero users ...makes it even more worser...

any company can setup a platform like this, it's not even innovative what these guy's are doing here, a

they can't even fix a namechange from bitquence to Ethos....changename is alway's a redflag...

700 Million market cap of hot air

Why is this increasing so much? Is there any news except the rebrand? I sold all at 8.4k sats to fund binance. Was looking to transfer btc from coinex,  so bought it today again at 19k sats from coinex and set a sell order at 20k in binance. Dont know if it will be filled as theres a wall at 19.5k sats.

I think you guys underestimate the amount of new money that's being poured in, this isn't an average game. You need start thinking outside the box, the market cap is going to be in the trillions next year and anybody with a decent platform will have a billion dollar company. Crypto is going to take over the world, enjoy the ride.

Also Ethos is American based, other fore mentioned are not
