Is not about free or paid listing, only a few exchanges are available for 3DC now because of the 0.14 new block structure/validation algorithm which is a hard fork, most of the exchanges agreed to list 3DC only after successful update including cryptopia.

Check the next development update for more details about this on the 30th of December.

You should have waited with the exchange maybe. dont listen to the community, they suck anyway and are NEVER satisfied.
