I will go on a trip from tomorrow, then will come back on the 12th.  Cheesy

Hey Motty

We miss you! lol  Cool

Yep I haven't given up on Fuji. Ben is getting ready to start his senior project for high school. He wants to create a website and try to learn and explain crypto currency in his research project.

He also wants to put a working wallet on the site ... so yep, he is going to link a Fuji Wallet, and that will be a center piece of his project/website. I told him I will furnish the coins to whomever wants to receive free coins IF they download the wallet first.

So we have to keep Fuji going strong so people can check out his site at school and MAYBE download a wallet.. lol, well we're just trying to keep it fun for newbies to crypto, and Fuji is the perfect coin right now.  I just sent a free 1000 coins to someone who PM'd me who actually downloaded a wallet and took advantage of my offer below in signature area... ok,

Keep the NOMP FUJI site up ... I will always have some CPU's mining and occasionally will break out the big guns and throw some hashes at it... got to watch electricity usages.

 Wink

Doug you still out there?  Cheesy

Yep - still here! Have been soloing a bit, and hitting some new coins at launches, trying to make enough btc to break even on the electricity.

not going anywhere, though - I've a vested interest in this coin!  Grin

Motty, will this change coming soon affect the Fuji algorithm at all? or impact mining the way it is now?

https://vertcoin.org/pow-algorithm-upgrade-lyra2/

Also, can or could Fuji be merged mined anywhere Ill do more research on scryp-N

thx

Hi scryptonite,

Yes you can do merged mining.

Very interesting Motty, was thinking it could be merged. Lets keep this on a back burner if nothing else for now. But may be a good way to get Fuji out to the rest of the world if we could get a Merged Mining pool to add Fuji? never know... may be something to be looking into.  Thank you for this info too!!

Also, I was wondering about that LA pool.. thx for the heads up! I knew you must have known lol, We have a better pool of our own now too  Wink

Look what I just stumbled upon? lol seems to be a working Fuji pool.... I created an account but haven't tried to mine on it, but appears to be a working pool. But I will stick with our own Motty pool now.... especially with 0% fee's...lol

Motty did you know this pool was there?

https://multi.xau.jp/fujicoin2/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

last block found on this pool was 12 hours ago...hmmm interesting

Strange bit of anime at the top of the page... lol

Edit: If I'm not mistaken, this is the pool that caused (or was involved) in the fork of Fuji in the first release?
hmm could be? but it still list a pool for Fuji 1.00 and now 2.00 which seems active. But will stick with our new pool from Motty .. so far I like what he has given us.

Ya nice anime at top.. I clicked on it,,, lol curiosity killed the cat lol to bad I cant read Japanese  Grin

Hi scryptonite,

I know this pool of course.
Because hackers are operating this pool Cool, it is not recommended. Wink

FYI, I just received my first Fuji pool payout!  Shocked
I have received ~230 payouts in the past ~5 hrs.   Grin

Because mined coins requires confirm of 120 times, there is a delay of about 2 hours to payout.  Wink

I'm mining with you, motty.

How's it working?

Well working!  Wink
--> http://pool.fujicoin.org/

Completeness of NOMP is very high.
I'm just worried about the utilization of the CPU, but no problem at all. Cheesy

That's good!

Hey MinermanNC (scryptonite) come mine with us on motty's pool!   Wink

hey Doug, Motty I'm on my way in just a few!!  Wink

EDIT: Hey guys I'm in!! and hashing  Wink

Great Job Motty you may have saved the coin! now we can try to get back the others we may have lost. Also, later I will test the CPU side as we need them to.
Keep testing Motty... I knew you could do it!

Motty, why are none of the pools working,,, mainly pool.mn and also poolerino not working?

thx

You pool mining, MinermanNC?
pool.mn emailed me back and is shutting down  Undecided         no luck on poolerino either, I haven't heard from them. We need a new pool lol.

Motty create a pool for us! anything will do lol

pool.mn will be closed? It's a problem.  Huh
For poolerino, I do not know what they're thinking.
Poolerino is not running from the beginning.
I will consider the pool.

sounds good Smiley

I have been studying how to make a pool today, but it's a little difficult.  Huh lol

I understand, but let us know. I am trying to keep some hashing going by solo mining,,, But don't want to continue if the coin is at a stand still? Let us know if you can come up with something or maybe speak to the original pool ops to see if one of them will keep a pool up for Fuji?

I began to run the pool in a test environment today.
There is a variety of pool, but I chose NOMP.
It is currently being tested.

Motty, please keep testing the pool, many who might would mine Fuji will not know how to solo mine. When you think its ready announce here and or PM me at scryptonite, I will throw some power hash at it Smiley

PS: this MMNC under my new account for a few more days....lol long story....

EDIT: Glad to see you haven't given up and are working on a pool, yes this pool format will do for now... Don't give up  Cheesy

I started the test in a production environment.

Website: http://pool.fujicoin.org/
  User registration is not required.
  0% fee!  Cheesy

Configuration:
Username: your fujicoin wallet address
Password: anything
Algorithm: scrypt-n
URL: stratum+tcp://pool.fujicoin.org:3032

For example:
  minerd.exe -a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.fujicoin.org:3032 -u FfU8MXPHGsYQY4WAueh54nBB9WgTFzf7oN -p fujicointest

Please participate in the test.  Wink

Hey motty,

Are there any sight-seeing, or souvenir shops, or other Mt. Fuji related businesses that we could contact in regard to accepting Fuji Coin? Or even businesses in general that surround Fuji?

Picking up any of these would be a valuable asset!  Smiley

Hi scryptonite,

We are not going to be that dangerous, such as changing the Proof of Work algorithm.  Wink
I feel a lot dangerous to the Vertcoin.  Cool
