The message on the front page of MinerPools is incorrect.

The seed node has them as an addnode and when the seed node was updated we deleted the peers.dat to rediscover the network through them.

Edit to add: if they are seeing something we are not then let's compare notes and see what's up.
Can you answer what im asking. Why was the fork with the most miners on it and would stand to lose the most coins not consider the right fork.Just want to know the reasoning for this.It makes no sense.
The right fork was the one Bryce and friends were on Wink

I'll be happy to start moderating the thread if you are unable to read it.  That's clearly not the case.

The network suffered some rocking and rolling today and is attempting to correct.  It was designed to work that way.

The assumption is always that someone is trying to screw over the community because that is what has happened since this forum first went online.  The assumption being made specifically in this case is that we're somehow trying to screw over the community as opposed to resolving a technical problem for the long term.

I simply expect such comments like this will continue forever, so it is only on rare occasions like this one that I bother to respond.

You shouldn't have, it was simply a joke. Notice the winky face? Don't be so defensive, it almost makes it seem as though you have something to feel guilty of Wink

Also, you can't start moderating this thread... you made it unmoderated, you would have to make another. Are you new here Wink?

Hahaha.. fair enough.  It's been a long day, as you can imagine.

Meanwhile, the seed node has been corrected.

I repeated the exercise of deleting the peers (and blockchain database) and explored the network through MinerPools.

Sorry for a noop questions: I clicked the link to download the latest wallet from the OP but after downloading Chrome gave an alarm about malicious softwares and deleted it. Why that? Is there anyone experience the same issue?
Thanks!

The link is on Dropbox.  If that's a problem I can post it somewhere else.
Yes, can you post it somewhere else for us?
BTW, Minerpools and Coin-miners now reflect the same Net Hashrate. Can you confirm that they are mining on the same official fork ?
Thanks!

They are.  The seed node is indeed misbehaving.

I'm going to correct it now.  It was still receiving bad blocks from somewhere and was rebroadcasting them.

Thank you for your patience.  If we haven't been posting it's because we're working to resolve the issues.
i still dont understand why a pool with over 500TH was on wrong fork.doing this just causes alot more people to lose coins.i think its terrible how this whole situation has been handled so far

Over 700TH most of the time actually.

also lost some hashrate in minerpool.

MinerPools reached out to me via PM.  I gave them my email address.  I'd like to get to the bottom of it as much as anyone else would given how we attempted to resolve the issue.

Windows, Mac and GitHub updated.  Please update your wallets and the fork will automatically correct itself. For updated wallets, please find them on the links in the OP.

No pool was ever removed from the OP, though some may not have been added just yet.

so has anyone offically involved with this coin or dev responded lately on this distaster and why that fork was chosen over others, why pools were deleted from main page, what happens to all the people who rented rigs and lost all their coins. This is just terrible for everyone involved.Has GamerHolic made and statement on where they stand.

This was the "official" statement, or so it seems... https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8994897 of course it doesn't address your questions or those of any of us here.
wow.thats it.thats terrible.I wonder how GamerHolic likes having its name dragged through the mud with this poor behaviour

And no, the official node doesn't work, that's why C-cex is having so many issues syncing, the only thing we can do now is to have each of the different pool's url as nodes on your .conf file.

about 5 hours ago I sent 500 to C-cex... I saw that they were pending and had 4 out of 25 confirmations...now they don't show up.  The Wallet is offline for Maint. so maybe that is why.  Did C-Cex switch forks recently?

C-cex was on another fork, they were on block 1776 by the time the new source was released. Their frontend shows Block: 2248, and current block is 2485. This coin really, really needs a block explorer.

That will NEVER happen... if it does the first 80 blocks will be "Missing"   Grin

I think thats why third parties usually make block explorers
