Genesis v2.0.2 is Available Now. It is easy to download the new version of wallet you can run it anyway, no need to delete the old wallet. I ask a new wallet version in my previous post here and thanks Genesis Official for making this project so great.
I hope that there will be another new wallet version update soon coz for me Genesis is awesome.

I have a laptop and I want to try $GENX mining with my laptop.
But before I start learning about it, anyone with the $GENX mining experience here can tell me what the minimum GPU configuration to join the mining is?

You can mine with any GPU but performance will be greatly hindered with age. I would also be careful with cooling on a laptop. Given the current price it probably makes more sense buying if you do not have dedicated hardware.
I'd have to agree with Jimmy - I don't suggest mining on a laptop. No point in burning up a laptop for the negligible amount you would receive at this difficulty level.
i have tried mining electroneum using my i5 laptop for several days. the cpu stayed loaded and hot 24/7 and i realized it's not worth to earn some coins by risking my laptop. you can try mining on laptop for experimental purposes but to do some serious mining, do it on gpu.

I can see that the Team is doing a great job with development as described in the roadmap. It is very well planned. That's why I'm supporting Genesis. I will continue mining this. But I'm taking breaks from time to time because I'm studying how to fine tune my mining so that it will be safely optimized.
i had upgraded to wallet 2.0.2.130. the wallet download is quick and the new wallet loads even faster! salute to the dev team for coming up with the updated wallet version. i am excited to see the next major wallet release, perhaps with new features included.

Great job so far, you guys did very well. I see AD5 very prominent, I hope it will also succeed as all the previous AD.
I have a strong feeling that the 5th airdrop will surely be another success and to think that the reward is really high now. I am expecting for more airdrop participants now.
This airdrops already helped the project to gain more exposures, I think what needs now is to boost the confidence and trust of investors from this project so that they can encourage more people to make good investments.

Good to know that the project's community now are getting bigger and stronger now, the community really contributed a lot for the advertising and good exposure of this project.
Because of the airdrop this the main reason why so many active members already joined the community and this is a good start for the project to achieve their goals soon.
Yes. I am sure they will soon reach their goal. There are some exchanges, I think it will soon come up and be more interested investors.
I think more listings and more marketing can help the project to reach its goals. But genesis still need more improvements and developments for them to attract more investors.

Tell me, what is the income from rx580 per day?
Mining with RX580 approximate 12-14 sol/s with around 700-800 GENX per day. Hope this info will give you a guideline or idea how to current mining income per card. Well, difficulty and total network hash rate will influence the profit too. Iwould suggest you join in early as GENX going to switch to hybrid pow+pos, is good to have some coins to pos by that time.
*(My above card is underclock, you may get higher hash rate if you don’t underclock)
Regarding mining Genesis, I'm very interested as I am just starting to mine it today. I have a couple of questions for you @TravelFrog: How do you underclock or overclock your RX580 to produce best results for GENX? What procedure or app do you use?

My card setting
-cclock 1130 -mclock 1950 -cvddc 925 -mvddc 925
This setting may not be the optimum but I am comfortable with it, I derive this setting from my previous mining fine tune way back 6 month ago for cryptonight mining.
So far my mining rig stable and smooth. To find the best setting is time consuming. Once you go thru it you got what I mean. I just don’t like sitting in front of pc keep rebooting and fine tune.
It depends on weather and cooling the card to determine how much you can overclock. That is why for mining is not recommended to overclock. The key is to find a high solution/s with low power consumption.
Thank you @TravelFrog for this information. I will download OverdriveNTool, and I will try to fine tune my graphics card settings using this tool. Low power consumption with high solutions is the goal.

Me too, I think I only joined last airdrop and the reward I received is a good start to hold more genesis coins. The rewards now are doubled the last airdrop and it will become attractive to more members.

Hello just a suggestion, It would be very nice to see an animated presentation video on how the Point-Of-Sale feature of Genesis works. I know that it is a unique thing for a cryptocoin to implement Point-Of-Sale, but how it is beneficial than the traditional Point-Of-Sale is the thing that keeps popping in my mind. I hope you will make some videos in the future for the better understanding for this great project.
