Can we have a list of nodes for the conf file?
The devs should make sure at least a few static ip wallets exist

I can't even get a connection any more. I suppose this time the coin really is done. Despite all reassurances by the team 

It's been too long without news.

Perhaps it's time to list in an exchange now that some cheap new ones are available, like coinsmarkets or southexchange.

Maybe that will raise interest and bittrex will consider relisting, or at least old holders will have an incentive to push bittrex stuff to allow withdrawals.

But some news about actual plans for the coin would be best.

Have you sent also a request to bittrex as Mike asked?
I think almost all the supply is locked in offline bittrex wallets.
It would make more sense to relaunch and swap for those that still have some.

I won't believe it I lost a lot of money with this coin and was a whale if you want to call that years ago when it was cheap. This is my only 2015 coin left as it was like 3sat by the time it all ended and i had some on another bittrex exchange. Are there any plans to list this somewhere. If it can get the value of 15sats I'm happy to offer some coins to the person that can make that happen.

Please send another if anyone reading this really want to see GLOBE reach its awesome true potential.
Ask at least for them to load the wallet sent them a loong time ago so the Community could pull their coins off the exchange.

Absolutely not a waste of time.
They are giving choices of there is only one clear one.
"If you would like to list a coin".
We are not asking for a listing but for them to load the wallet given them a year ago so we can pull the coins off the exchange.
Please reply and keep at it as well as others and keep asking what needs to be done
for them to allow us our coins off so we can at least stake them and do OTC till we get GLOBE relisted.
Keep doing this.

Bittrex support is hopeless, at least as far as GLOBE is concerned

I sent the ticket weeks ago.
Soon the first automated reply came after a few days, confriming that my problem still exists !!!!
Obviously they never read it and hope some of the tickets can be eliminated this way, as they would consider it closed if I didn't reply

I did reply though so that the ticket would remain.

Now after so long I got another reply simply pasting some ready made answer that supposedly answers the question. And the ticket was closed



Waste of time

Lets see where things are at once we get the development done.
Bittrex said they wanted to see that first and the Globe platform will be awesome.
I gave them the functional wallet over a year ago.
It has been behaving perfectly and they have many many support tickets asking for their coins.
They could have started it up and allowed us to take our coins off.
We could have negotiated a payout to them to do that..
Don't worry, GLOBE will be very valuable and Bittrex was made aware how integral to all our projects GLOBE is.

I believe you have to consider the possibility that bittrex will not comply.

I doubt you have the means to take them to court for that.

In that case perhaps the best thing to do is a coin swap on a new blockchain.

Allow everyone who holds coins now (I doubt everyone had it all on bittrex) to swap 1:1

See how many actually do so and burn the rest. Or organize bounties and airdrops to raise interest.

Then perhaps increase the pos or pow rate for a while to raise supply to desirable levels if very few coins exist.

All this of course, after you have developed something for the coin to make it more valuable.

Bittrex had been sent the working wallet so send in a ticket for them to allow us to remove our coins
and we believe this could constitute theft.

Get mining in a few simple steps.

To start mining Global:

2) Extract to %appdata% ( c:\users\\appdata\roaming

4) extract to c:\
5) Doubleclick c:\global\global-qt.exe to open the wallet
6) Wait for it to sync the blockchain
7) Double click c:\global\miner.bat to start mining
 


CPU MINING-QuiBit-full manual:

1) Download the wallet.
2) Extract the zip into a directory - eg c:\global
3) open DOS box, cd to your directory and run: global-qt -addnode=216.165.179.42 -addnode=216.165.179.43 -rpcuser=user -rpcpassword=password -rpcport=19556 -server
4) That'll start the wallet and have it accept mining requests.
5) Download the miner from: https://github.com/tpruvot/cpuminer-multi/releases

6) Extract it to a directory - eg c:\global\miner
7) cd to that directory and run: cpuminer-x64.exe -o http://localhost:19556 --userpass=user:password -a qubit
Cool Congratulations you're now mining - or will be when the wallet syncs. You may need to restart it a couple of times to complete the initial sync, it gets hung up sometimes.



GPU MINING:
This miner can be run while you have your CPU miner running.
