I think it's safe to say that 90% or more of the "offers" and propositions out there are scams.  If it doesn't look professional, or if it seems to good to be true it's best to just ignore it (especially in crypto). Smiley

For those who follow us on Telegram, you will notice an endless group of those who offer to "help" us get on exchanges to make our price go up.  Well, for starters, they all want BTC or something and when I ask for them to actually email me a formal proposal from an exchange email address, they seem to disappear.  So this is a heads up, NOT to give any of these people anything unless you OK it with us first....... it is NOT like we are giving you permission, our goal is to protect you and the group.  Typically, once we tell them No thanks, they will contact someone else and go after them with the same proposition.

We are in conversations with two other exchanges now and think one will list us very soon - we hope - they are new and popular - so we are looking forward to that.  Keep in mind, with all these exchanges, the #1 priority is that they accept USA customers, if they do not, we have zero interest in paying for access to something that we can see and use ourselves.  We continue to search and research new options for exchange and payment gateways and are always happy to review any that get posted here.

All that being said, Bushstar thinks V1.5 will be ready early within the week - we will keep you posted.

I need some help and support from our non-USA international community.  I was approached by a group this morning who has the ability and desire to sell GUNCOIN using credit cards.  While on the surface, this sounds like a great idea, it is totally unavailable to USA users.  So for starters, being in the USA, I cannot check it out, much less see how it works or what all is required of the users who sign up for it. They are located in SE Asia and are basically buying GUN on Cryptopia or whatever exchanges it is on, marking it up and reselling it.  I have no problem with this or whatever markup they want to apply - but it seems this may do two things for GUN, create a new demand for GUN at the exchanges and second, give users who do not want to deal with the exchanges another option to acquire GUN (except those in the USA).  Even better, they have an API, that could be embedded into sellers websites (except in the USA).  So for our international community, please give me your feedback on what you find at:

https://indacoin.com/en_GB/change/buy-guncoin-with-cardusd.

Looking for some feedback from USA users as well.  FYI, according to our block explorer, about 48% of GUN users are in the USA.  So besides creating additional demand for the coin, it could benefit over half of GUN users.

That site is reachable from the US through tor browser.

I have been using versions of the tor browser and tor/privoxy setup for over 15 years now, more info on the tor browser - https://www.torproject.org/

We do have GUN Core V1.5 in work and expect to have it ready next week.  This will take GUN all the way out to Bitcoin Core 0.16 and provide a lot more speed and capability to GUN users.  This should be an exciting upgrade for GUN as it brings us total current with the Bitcoin Core and up to date with anything else from a POW perspective.  It is important to note that while this is only a soft fork, upgrading is highly recommended due to the increased capability it will provide users.  To see the details of this upgrade, you can check the roadmap on the GUN website.  Thanks so much for your support.

We would like to introduce another GUN partner accepting GUN on their website as payment and donations.  They have a very interesting business that you will like.

I just saw that posted on Twitter and was going to come here to say how nifty that is. Smiley  I'm definitely going to print out some of those targets for us to have some good family fun (pellet/bb guns off the back deck).

Guncoin is being traded of course, just a little lower than usual like most other currencies out there.

I believe this is one of the lowmarketcap coins that when it breaks out, will make many people wish they were paying closer attention at times like these.

Agreed..

Guncoin is working its way into the right channels, and when it does peeps that grabbed some while it's cheap like this will reap rewards like the coins I bought for 5 sats, and sold for 150 to 250 sats in the last runup..  30x to 50x payback on my part.  Hell, the next run-up, the people that bought the coins from me should see a good profit.

Buy low, sell high..  It may take a while but it is worth it!

I see that Guncoin has no recent trade lines. I am just checking if the coin is still being traded due to the fact that I see a lot of sell off of the coin at this time.

The Concierge of Crypto
Unless you make dozens or hundreds of transactions a day, it's always a good idea to back up your wallet as often as you can, even as often as after every send transaction. If you're just receiving (or mining to one address) then you can probably skip the backup. Still not a bad idea.

Moving forward on the GUN Core Roadmap, we will be getting started on GUN V1.5.....

There are lots of new and exciting features in this update that you can see on our Roadmap page on the website.  We anticipate rolling it out in early June on schedule.  While this should be a soft fork and backward compatible, it will be highly advantageous to upgrade once the Guncoin team makes it available.

Does the online/desktop wallet have HD ( Hierarchical Deterministic ) capabilities, meaning if I were to send a partial amount will the remaining balance  go to a new address but in my wallet and not get lost?    Huh

Not at this time.  This is just a basic wallet so far/  In the near future,  additional capabilities will be added.

If I read the comment correctly, I believe that sending a partial amount from an address is safe in the standard wallet (that does not have HD capabilities).
My understanding is that there are a certain number of predetermined change addresses (maybe 100 or so) ready to go, that stay with your wallet.
As long as a backup is made every so often, there should be no problem and all of your coins will be there.

For those mining on AMD, what kind of hashrate do you get with the RX series on GatelessGate miner ?

If I remember correctly we got +/- 700 Kh/s on a stock RX 480 8GB.  That would have been on an older version of GG though.  With Claymore's Neoscrypt miner we get 900-1000 Kh/s with the same GPUs.

My wallet is not connecting to the server. Any tips?

There are seed nodes embedded in the wallets.  If you cannot connect the problem is on your end, most likely a config file or firewall/anti-virus issue.
