Wow and wow again.  BTC just hit $3665.   I am looking for an additional proven developer.  We have a few things in works  and some other ideas up for consideration.  Not really looking for wannabees.......Should be able to point to something you have done RECENTLY.....Just PM me at the handle......

I have created them with the bulk wallet feature in walletgenerator.net
Using the wallet generator is pretty easy, and one is better off downloading and running it offline.
Those instructions are on the bottom of their webpage.

It didn't have the look/style I wanted for this project though, so I copied/pasted the generated addresses into a design program.
From there, added them to the bottom of a layout describing digital currency and Guncoin, which was placed on the rear of a printout of the U.S. Bill of Rights, on parchment paper.
Then of course, I send some Guncoin to them.
I believe that they are frameable, with a "hidden" wallet in plain sight.

My process is fairly labor intensive and slow, but if one uses the walletgenerator, with it's art/logo, it should go pretty quickly.
I recommend copy/pasting the addresses somewhere, notepad maybe, to make sending GUN to them easier.

I give the wallets to whomever I feel may be interested.

Hopefully they will hang them on a wall in their office/den/mancave/womancave/wherever, or put them somewhere safe.
Maybe the concept will garner some additional interest and research on their part.
If not, possibly a time may come when they hear about digital currencies elsewhere, then they can have an aha moment, knowing they already have some.

Also, some stickers are thrown in for fun, because...who doesn't like stickers? Smiley

Thanks so much for the description.  Is what you have something that could be formalized a little more as a download from the website?  And is is possible to simplify or streamline it such that I could add it to the Guncoin training manual???

BTW, I have picked up my pace a little, and have been spreading some GUN paper wallets around.

You may want elaborate on this a bit for newbies......

1) How are you creating them?
2) Who are you giving them to?
3) What if anything do they do with them when they get them?

The point is, if more folks did this word would spread pretty fast.....Am hoping if you have a working process, others can clone it......

FYI, I am very happy with Cryptopia as well.

Yea, that sounds about right.....NOT FREE......then if you do not meet the minimum daily trade volume, they delist you....

Cryptopia seems to be getting better all the time, am very happy for them, and consider them a great asset.

It would be great to see GUN listed on Bittrex, but what's really needed is some use and volume.

Prima Donna of the month (That's not me!. Ups. Microphone time.) Could be nice to see your coin on bittrex.

I'm still having a beef elsewhere :-)

Getting on to exchanges is NEVER free.  Just having a stable coin and a website will not get you listed anywhere.  Significant community involvement and volume on other exchanges would at least get you some consideration.  After that, it is how much you are willing to pay for many exchanges.  To my knowledge, almost every exchange we have been listed on over the past several years has cost us BTC or $$$ or both.  Then after a few months, they drop you for trading less than the minimum per day or just shut the website down and keep everyone's money.  We like Cryptopia very much.  We have decent volume there and they are easy to deal with.  At one point, we were on 5-6 exchanges.  They all disappeared or our volume would be spread between them.  So I would say, if our trading is consistently good on Cryptopia, Bittrex might be something to consider.  Until then, any of our community are more than welcome to try and get us on any exchanges they feel are worthy.  HOWEVER, I would hate to see our volume diluted as a result.

This project has been a long time why there is still a previous post whether this project again in the redeveloped. thanks so much.

In all honesty, the coin is never "done".  The coin has been out, unchanged and very stable for several years we are pleased to report.  We are always looking to make it better, more useful and more competitive.  In this community, any constructive ideas are welcome.  At this time, we are currently reviewing the state of other coins and tokens as to what works and what does not.  As you can see from other parts of this thread, there are several potential features up for consideration.  When ever we get a community consensus, we will look to proceed that direction.  I hope that someone answers your question.

Hello,
It is good to see more users of GUN.
I wish I could help with a specific answer, but all I can really say is that the wallet should work fine.
I recommend to double check that the file name is correct and re-add what appears to be the available current nodes and try again.
There were some others having issues with the wallet a few pages back and got it figured out after some trial and error.
Maybe read back in this post and see if there are any answers there.
Wishing you luck.

Well, I just opened a wallet that I have not opened in 2 weeks and it starting syncing immediately. Although several days behind, it is catching up as I write this and watch.  Again, the most common issues we have seen with newbies unable to sync is as follows.......

1) Using wrong or old nodes.
2) Firewall issues.
3) Config file has the incorrect extension.  It should be a .conf file, NOT a .txt or .doc file.
4) Typos is the file.

Other than those, there is no reason it should not sync since it is working for everyone else.

hello!

my wallet is not synchronizing  Huh

I made a conf file as described in the users guide, i added node from chainz.cryptoid, but it still doesn't work.

What's the problem?

"2017-08-04 17:54:07 No valid UPnP IGDs found
2017-08-04 17:54:07 upnp thread exit"

"2017-08-04 17:53:59 0 addresses found from DNS seeds
2017-08-04 17:53:59 dnsseed thread exit"

hope this help.

best regards

porkchoprasbora

TheSignsGuy is correct.  Most issues with syncing turn out to be using the wrong nodes or just having the wrong file extension.  I have several wallets and all are syncing just fine.
