Site is back up, carry on earning interest.  Cool

I have a little bit invested here and I got nervous for a second, too.

next time there's downtime like this, the eric of haobtc should make a post here to inform their investors of the reason for the downtime; people are quick to call scam here after all.

And just like that, he's gone...

I'm sure (hope) it's just a technical glitch, but you never know when a place is going to close up shop and walk away with the coins...

Can I have the url to alternate page?  I just deposited 5 btc couple hours ago, and haven't been able to log in yet, getting a little anxious.  Sign-in page loads, but after entering credentials it just goes to a blank page, I hope it's not some sort of man in the middle attack.

Eric; Your service is useless if your website doesn't even load.

Statement:
For those who want to reach me and get quicker response, I recommend you download WeChat and add me - either "ericmxl" or "15001142914" as a contact. This forum is blocked in China, though I have the technological means that enables me to access it, it does take extra steps, which may cause unnecessary anxiety on your side.

BTW I did finally get my coins but it took 7-8 hrs.   Sad

Apologies for the inconvenience this apparently has caused you. I had been traveling with a phone of poor battery life and spotty Internet connection so was unaware until now. Just checked our internal WeChat conversation history - seems confirms that we experienced either an attack or some system issue preventing the colleague on shift from logging in to approve the withdrawal requests. Here are some of the screenshots as proof.

In addition, I will forward your concern, which I think is legitimate, to the dev team and do what I can to expedite the solution of similar problems in the future.

As someone who has some BTC invested here, I totally agree with you.  An expected withdraw time and "best service hours" would be very useful.  It would also be nice to receive an automated email when our withdraw request is first received, and again when it is processed letting us know when we should expect to receive the payment.

Coinbase is a wallet and Bitmain is a hardware manufacturer; not sure why you are comparing either company to this service which is neither.

As they've mentioned, they process all withdraws manually.  It's the middle of the morning before dawn in China right now.  Patience...

Maybe then they should have business hours or an advertised window of time in which they process withdrawals.  Perhaps they should just say withdrawals will take up to xx hours.

Given people concerns around bitcoin services in general, particularly ones overseas, having this uncertainty is not good business practice imo.

What do you think, Mikestang?

Just wondering if anyone is having problems with deposits today i made some this morning they have not shown up yet. been using the service for about a week this is the first problem i have had

No problems here.
But I have noticed sent payments are taking a loooooooong time to post on some addresses/sites

Any problem with withdrawals??

Thanks

Hi, sorry for the delay and the late response.
I am not sure what caused your delay, but all withdrawals are manually processed, in a scenario when a large number of people make requests, it is possible that a lag will be caused.
Another possibility: I myself encountered five hour delay for a 0.088 BTC withdrawal a couple weeks ago. Although I have greater confidence in the company than regular users, I was not very happy by it at all, so shouted at the CTO on the phone and was told that the site was being DDoSed.

I'm waiting for a withdrawal of 0.87 BTC from my HaoBTC account.  It's been over 4 hours now.  With this kind of delay, I don't see myself using your service going forward.

Maybe you guys are being DDOSed again, but I don't have this problem with my Bitmain or Coinbase accounts.

Had my BTC in here for a week or two, seems to be going along fine.  I'm still scared to invest more than a hundred or two dollars worth in BTC.

Have they answered the question regarding, how secure are our coins?

Is there any min. Transaction limit for Bitcoin desposits?(Banking)
So any Limit, under which my BTC won't get credited?

I don't think there is a minimum.. but if it's 2 low you won't earn any interest...

you will still earn some interest, just not very much.

A nice video, every mining company should do this. I thought about trying your services after seeing this, but the website is so slow it doesn't even load. I see a white screen which I can scroll through and nothing else..

Is it haobtc.com? Just checked, loaded fine on my laptop.
