The current state of things is not wholly unexpected. You have only to look at the previous coins developed and abandoned by FreeTrade. He seems like a nice guy, but he appears to have an issue with following through.

My point is that the miner mines at half speed compared to Wolfs optiminer. The devs have been saying that they re trying to incorporate the optiminer code into the wallet for months but this hasn't been done so far.

It's a pity because HODL could have potential.

Yes exactly because when the deposits end the flood doors of hold open. The one year deposit was to have people hold their hodl and stop dumping. It has done well for the price as hodl is performing well bit what about when the floodgates of hodl come into the market from us longterm one year hodl owners ? I for one will keep holding till later and wait fpr the value to rise. Hopefully most people are thinking about doing the same thing.

I'm still mining me some hodl and will keep doing so. Whatever I mine I will match with rented hashrate so i double basically.

I'll repeat my offer of some months ago:

In order to pay homage to the first bitcoin transaction of 10000 BTC for 2 pizzas, I will have 2 pizzas worth, say $30 USD including delivery costs, delivered from someone like Papa Johns to 1 person for 10,000 HOdl (I will do this once).  @Freetrade agreed the first time I offered this to act as escrow agent so I imagine he would again.  PM me if you're interested.

The price of hodl according to https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hodlcoin/ is about $.002 right now so that's actually a better value than the exchange.
